Right from the doorstep, you can enjoy a wonderful walk along the canal, where you pass beneath the famous, 900 year old Skipton Castle walls and in to Skipton Woods. A multitude of shops, restaurants and pubs can be found in the quaint town centre where you will be absolutely spoilt for choice. Embsay Steam Railway is only a mile away and operates regularly towards picturesque Bolton Abbey, set alongside the River Wharfe. The Yorkshire Dales National Park, Harrogate, York and the Lake District National Park are all within easy driving distance. This really is the perfect Yorkshire cottage for couples, friends and small families. Shop 400 yards, pub and restaurant 150 yards.
