We loved how easy it was to access the metro to get to all the places we wanted to go. The apartment was comfortable and just lovely. We really enjoyed our experience and would definitely stay again.
This was a wonderful experience & not a traditional rental. Very clean, spacious & comfy & great location to see everything. I wouldn’t visit Paris in August again with the heat, crowds & no AC, you have to sleep with the windows open especially if using the portable ac unit & it was very loud on the streets at night but felt safe on the 4th floor.
It was a beautiful apartment. Many antiques around, not for children. It was in a very nice area with lots of shops and restaurants. The subway was close. We had a very pleasant stay there.
In the middle of it all! So fun! Very safe. Traditional Parisian apartment! Met our ever accommodation. Thank you.

Large Paris Apartment best for adults without children
The apartment was large and the 2 bathrooms were a HUGE bonus for 2 adult couples. Not great for families with children. There are too many personal items and restrictions that children might struggle to leave alone. The apartment could also use a deep clean. The images shown are very kind. This is more of a family home than a rental, it can be stressful to make sure you don't touch something you aren't supposed to or keep things covered appropriately. The location is fine depending on what you are looking for. I prefer a part of Paris that is cleaner and quieter. But the neighborhood seemed fairly safe.

Lost electricity for 24 hours. Huge inconvenience. We had to spend hours of our vacation charging phones at Starbucks. There was no action taken quickly to help resolve this major issue, instead wanted the guests to fix the fuse box.The second bathroom reeked of urine. Truly unbearable. The second bathroom also had no hot water.I had to take freezing cold showers all week. No AC in second bedroom, just a small fan on 2 hour timer. Had to get up every 2 hours to wind up the fan.
Incredible location close to lots of restaurants, with atmosphere bubbling up from the street if you have the windows open - lovely! A charming Parisian apartment with lovely furnishings and loads of natural light.
The prolific number of family photos around the house felt a little uncomfortable, and made us feel like we were intruding in someone else's home. Some beautiful antique furniture, which while appreciated, was sometimes impractical with attempting to fit our suitcases in accessible locations. The showers and bathrooms could do with an upgrade, the second bathroom shower head was not mounted on the wall. The tap in the kitchen is also on it's last legs. Second bedroom was very small, with two very small beds- ok for children, but unsuitable for teenagers or adults.
If you're after a great location, this is for you, if you're looking for a modern bathroom - select another property.

This was a fantastic experience, and I would absolutely recommend this listing.
What a lovely stay! My husband, two adult children, and I enjoyed 2 weeks at this perfectly located Paris apartment over Christmas/NewYears. I cannot stress enough how wonderful an experience we had. From the moment I booked, Veeve took plenty of care to be sure that I had all my questions answered quickly, and arranged a check-in to suit our needs. We received a lovely tour and local recommendations at check-in. We had one small issue with a fuse that was handled quickly. Great service from the management company. The apartment was a beautifully furnished classic French apartment in a classic building with many modern updates and conveniences. The light in the living/dining room was intoxicating. We enjoyed making breakfast, snacks, and several big meals in the tiny-but-efficient kitchen. Washer/dryer was so appreciated on our 2 weeks visit. All told, the single best feature of this rental has to be the location. It's less than a 2 minute walk from 2 main Metro lines and where the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd districts converge. One of the best market streets in Paris is basically around the corner, and it's ground-zero for les passages de Paris. It's a 15 minute walk to many top tourist spots, but close to a great bakery, Monoprix for groceries, shops, cafes, and restaurants. This was a fantastic experience, and I would absolutely recommend this listing.
A home away from home. We believe it can be something really special. At Veeve, we've been committed to hand-selecting the very best homes in London and Paris since 2011. Our mission? Whichever home you choose, our team of experts are bursting with insider knowledge on the local area. We love to make recommendations, so why not give us a call?
Why they chose this property
The 1er arrondissement of Paris is genuinely the historical and geographical centre of Paris. Here you’ll find plenty of Historic sites, including the world-famous Louvre and “le jardin des Tuilleries”. A bit further along you’ll find place de la Concorde and on a nice day you can see the Eiffel Tower from there. If you want to go for some retail therapy, then look no further than rue St-Honore. There are also many places to have a nice glass of wine or to sit down and taste some of Paris’ best culinary establishments. You can even pop down rue Rivoli on a sunny day and have a nice stroll down the Seine.
