The `Key to Bordeaux` is a holiday apartment with a view over the ‘fairytale castle’ of Porte Cailhau. The apartment is ideally located in a pedestrian-only area. It`s just one street back from the river and a few minutes walk from the famous Place de la Bourse.

Why they chose this property
The view of the "fairytale gate", Porte Cailhau, gave a magical feel to this apartment. It's flooded with light from the French windows and is comfortable, warm and spacious. We also loved that it was in a pedestrian only street, close to great restaurants, an excellent wine merchant, and a small supermarket. There are food and antique markets nearby.

The Key to Bordeaux is unusually spacious for a two bedroom apartment in the historic centre. It's very close to the famous Place de la Bourse, which is one of the most iconic images of Bordeaux. It's just one street back from the river, and the linear park that runs along it.
In the square around the corner you can eat a delicious meal, purchase an excellent selection of wine, or admire one of the ancient city gates, Porte Cailhau.
In the small surrounding streets are hundreds of boutique shops, wine bars, cafes, restaurants and artisans workshops. On the weekend, on the quay nearby, is the largest antique and second hand market in the region.
