As soon as you enter the back electric gate opening to the drive and garden you wont fail to be impressed. Next to the drive which accommodates 3 cars, lies the large lawn area with flagstone steps leading to a pool deck and terrace with a day bed and loungers alongside the outdoor heated pool. (available May to September. Can be extended by a few weeks upon request). Beyond the pool enter the old ruin to the main back door and further flagstone steps up to an upper dining terrace with large table and chairs and a BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining on a Summers evening. The garden is fully secure and very private surrounded by beautiful magnolia trees.

The open plan snug offers a Smart TV and this floor also has a WC and separate utility with washing machine and drier.

Up the original stone steps to the upper ground floor and enter the servants entrance to the formal dining room, rich in features and with an original dresser and large dining table with comfortable seating, perfect for celebratory dinner parties. The impressive hallway with its fine dog leg staircase will take you back in time to the grandeur of a bygone era yet modern conveniences add to your comfort. Two beautiful reception rooms, one with a wood burning stove give space to relax and unwind, or enjoy the large selection of books. There is also a large four poster bedroom beautifully decorated, with ensuite with shower over bath.

Follow the beautiful staircase up to the second floor where you will find two majestic bedrooms that are sure to delight, both have their own impressive en suite with large roll-top baths, perfect for a relaxing soak after a busy day exploring.

House with lots of character

Large house with grand rooms full of character. Be mindful that old houses such as this don’t have the open plan designs of a modern houses. Stairs will get you fit! Great location
