We absolutely loved it and the garden was amazing for kids to play in.

Maybe a slide or swing for children would be good to be added but apart from that couldn’t ask for more

Where do I start, stunning views, beautiful cottage .
Where do I start, stunning views, beautiful cottage . Finished to a very high standard loved the shower in the en suite bathroom. Jasper our greyhound loved the huge garden to run around in. Nice welcome pack. Unfortunately there was no milk in the fridge for a cuppa, so we had to go shopping also no kitchen roll a must have as far as I’m concerned and are a usual thing in other properties we’ve stayed in. That’s the only reason I dropped one star. Thank for a wonderful long weekend, which was my 70th birthday treat. We will most definitely return.

The Linhay is a clean, well maintained and comfortable property in a lovely setting.
The Linhay is a clean, well maintained and comfortable property in a lovely setting.
The living area is well designed and the kitchen in particular is a good size. There are great views of the Camel Estuary from the patio doors in the sitting area. The twin bedrooms are very small but manageable. The underfloor heating was very effective.
We would happily re-book.

We had a lovely stay at the Linhay.
We had a lovely stay at the Linhay. The kitchen is very well equipped and the beds are all very comfortable. The walk in shower in the master bedroom is just what you need after a long day at the beach! The garden has a fantastic view (the best out of the few cottages on the site) and there were beach supplies (boogie boards, wind breakers) for us to use. The only negative we had was that the cleaning team arrived only half an hour before our check in time (we arrived a little early as we'd been in Cornwall all day) and they were pulling out their hoovers and bed sheets just as we should have been able to go in. Not the owners fault, it was a contracted company.

The cottage was clean & well equipped.
The cottage was clean & well equipped. I did take some of our own antibacterial wipes, bleach & kitchen items (washing up bowl, drainer & pillow cases) but that was only due to COVID.
The cleaners were only just leaving when we arrived & I had no complaints.
The garden was huge with a lovely view, bbq & rotary airer.
I did take my own towels as was unsure whether they were till provided, but hand towels & bath sheets were available.
It was in a rural location with not much around but a good base for exploring the lovely surrounding areas & beaches. We had already booked a Tesco click & collect from Wadebridge store a couple of miles away which worked really well & saved alot of time.
The weather was also kind to us which was a bonus. Overall we had a lovely family holiday (5 of us & our dog) & would definitely recommend.
The only downside was that the rubbish & recycling only appears to be collected fortnightly I think which meant when we arrived it was already pretty full for our week away.

Beautiful cottage with a really fantastic garden and view. Cottage was very well equipped - the best we’ve stayed in, and a lovely thoughtful welcome hamper including milk in the fridge on our arrival. Would definitely like to come back again next year.
