The Big White Villa is the perfect base camp for all your holiday adventures! The property also includes 2 Double-bedroom self-contained studio apartments for guests that want to have their private accommodation.

This accommodation comfortably sleeps 14 guests, managed by suitably qualified friendly staff.

A prime location steps away from the beach. This is ideal for large groups or family getaways or use as a retreat.

THE PROPERTY
This beautiful modern home is secured by automatic gates and is accessible by two drive ways and a walking route to the main entry.

Walk through the front doors to find the spacious living area filled with natural light, plush leather sofas, a 60-inch 4K flat-screen Smart TV and a most exquisite designed bar, ready to be stocked with all your favourite alcoholic beverages.

The updated and fully equipped kitchen flows seamlessly into the dining area, making it easy to entertain guests.

Prepare your favourite home-cooked meal using the modern gas/electric cooker indoors then eat at the 4-person dining table on the veranda or why not go alfresco dining poolside.

Each bedroom in the home features a comfortable queen or king-sized bed and en-suite bathroom. The master suite is complete with luxurious bedding for your ultimate comfort. Wake up feeling rested each morning as sunlight illuminates the entire room.

The master bedroom with en-suite bathroom host a bath tub, double sink vanity unit and shower.

The other full bathrooms feature a shower and generous counter space for getting ready each day.

The ground floor bedroom is suitably adapted with special equipment for assisting individuals who are elderly or mobility impaired.

THE LOCATION
This amazing vacation home is located 5 miles from the centre of Ocho Rios, in a gated community, giving extra security and peace of mind to our guests.

The villa is situated on a historical heritage site, Rio Nuevo Battle site which includes a museum and park. Ask any of the neighbours and they will only be too happy to tell the stories associated with this site.

The area is peaceful and quiet enough for you to enjoy a relaxed environment, but near enough for you to travel to the hustle and bustle of Ocho Rios town centre if you so desire.

Follow the pathway next to the home and you will stumble onto Rio Nuevo beach that joins the river. This beach is quite stony and rugged and more suitable for the adventurous type. Walk along the coastline, you will see all the beautiful silver sandy beaches that coast is famous for. There are several other nature parks and beaches just minutes away, such as Bamboo Beach or James Bond Beach.

Take a 10-minute drive north to the town of Ocho Rios and all it has to offer with its trendy boutiques, antique shops and delicious restaurants. Be sure to stop by Fisherman’s Point to buy some fresh lobsters straight from the boat.

Very Accommodating!

Taniesha and host was great! The house could definitely fit eight of us plus more if we had a few more! The pool was perfect and although the ocean is close the walk down the nature carved - stairs to get there was great exercise! We would choose this villa again!

This place was great. It is a little outdated and the common areas do not have AC but other than that everything was great. Place was clean, chef Kevin and housekeeper Taneisha were great

Great Family Reunion!

My family gathered at The Big White Villa for a reunion. The location is perfect with amazing views from the balcony, and we were right next to a national historic monument. Best of all, the beach was a short walk away. There were plenty of rooms, balconies, nooks, etc. for my family to hang out, talk, eat, sleep, etc. The bathrooms are a bit outdated and can use some modernizing/refurbishing. Labels on the light switches would be nice as well. It was a challenge trying to figure out what switches turned on/off. We also had some wifi connectivity issues. Fortunately, we were not there to spend time using the Wi-Fi. Chef Kevin was A+ and 5 stars! He prepared some outstanding meals for us. Overall, my family enjoyed our stay at The Big White Villa!

Amazing Vacation Villa in Jamaica

The Villa was amazing. It's in a gated community just minutes from Ocho Rios. There were 13 of us, which included 4 kids and the Villa comfortably accommodated all of us. Two of the rooms are pool front and attached to the house, but with no interior access to the upper levels. That didn’t bother the couples that wanted the extra privacy. The staff were great, especially the housekeeper, who was very attentive to our needs. Although this sentence in the listing (managed by suitably qualified friendly staff (housekeeper, chef, house /security person) implies that the friendly staff is included, the Chef comes at an extra cost that we didn’t mind paying for the desired days and meals. He was very friendly, flexible, and prepared meals that were enjoyed by all. The only negative I saw in this property is the master suite shower, which was way too small considering the enormous bathroom. If you don’t mind the 2-hour drive from Montego Bay airport, I highly recommend this Villa. You will love the tranquility and Island feel that comes with not being directly in the mix of busier more touristic areas.

Family Vacation

Overall our stay was excellent. The house was very clean, neat and spacious. It was a little dated, but not unexpected. We employed the chef, for the week and every meal was super. He is a great cook. We especially loved the Escovitch Fish. My son can be a picker eater but he got seconds and wanted more. We only used the Housekeeper once, but again she was spot on. She did not get to finish her work due to a power failure, but returned the next day and finished everything. Super job. Our recommended driver to get us from the airport we used all week for different tour and excursions. with Travel Jamaica Tours (traveljamaicatoursja.@gmail.com) was the best driver I have had in Jamaica. Extremely safe and gave the best recommendations on things to do. He even helped out when the grocery store was closed by getting us let in to shop. The pool at the house was perfect for cooling off and we spent a lot of time there just sitting a talking. The only thing of note was we did not get to meet the house manager. I am not sure what happened but she was responsive when needed by phone. I would recommend this villa to others and would book it again.

Why they chose this property

My family moved to St. Mary over 50 years ago and I wanted to find a special place to retire close to my family memories. The Rio Nuevo Battle site is soaked in history and beauty, whilst giving breath taking views from my home.

What makes this property unique

Spacious rooms/studios which can bring a family/friends together, but also give you space for when you want to be apart.

We can lock off two of the bedrooms in the main part of the house leaving 3 bedrooms

The view of the River and sea are breath taking.

As the villa is located within a secured gated community it is very peaceful which can be a sanctuary after visiting the live spots of the island
