Between Chania and Rethymnon, at the historical village of Alikampos you will find Querini Traditional Villa. It is built with respect to the architectural of the region and equipped with modern amenities that harmonize perfectly with the tradition of the countryside.
Together with unique sounds of nature and unobstructed views of the natural beauty of the island, the Villa offers you comfort and privacy during your stay.
Situated to visit both the south and north side of the Island as well as Chania and Rethimnon and above all quality holidays, Querini Traditional Villa is the perfect destination.
The villa covers an area of 150 sqm, splitted in two levels by 3 steps. The first level is constituted by four rooms, two double beds bedrooms, a two single beds bedroom and a playroom with two sofa beds. The second level includes a 60 sqm area where the living room, the kitchen and the dining area are located together with two bathrooms with shower. It is designed to accommodate families, couples or a group of friends, no more than 8 persons.
Querini Traditional Villa is operating with the authorization of the National Tourism Organization, with license No: 1138337

Exceptional stay and amazing house !

We spent one week in Manolis house. The house is very nice, really comfortable, and super clean ! We had an amazing and warmfull welcome from Manolis ! The fridge was plenty of vegetables, fruits, olive oil, feta, etc… and a special Moussaka from Manolis’s Mother ! The house, the garden and the swimming pool were really super nice ! We had a very pleasant stay! Once again thanks a lot Manolis !

This is without doubt the best holiday home we’ve ever stayed in. Every little detail has been taken care of. From Manolis’ warm welcome and his constant willingness to help with tips and advice, to the fully stocked fridge waiting for us on arrival, everything was so thoughtfully done. At one point he even drove all the way from Chania to bring us his mother’s homemade moussaka – honestly just the most exceptional hospitality. He’s such a kind man and it really feels like he’ll do anything to make sure you have a fantastic stay.The villa itself is breathtaking – even more beautiful than the photos show. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the décor is gorgeous, and the outdoor spaces are just so lovely – it really feels like a little slice of paradise. We also loved the village itself, with its authentic charm and two fantastic tavernas just a short walk away.If I could give more than five stars, I would. Huge thanks to Manolis and Maria for making our stay so special – we’ll definitely be back.

A perfect honeymoon

Perfect! We had such a wonderful time at Manolis' villa. Manolis was always available for us. He gave us valuable infos and advices for trips and restaurants. When we arrived he presented us a fully stored refrigerator with fruits, vegetables, cheese and beverages. One highlight was the moussaka his mother made for us. Manolis is a very nice, accommodating, caring and helpful host. The villa is just beautiful, fantastic and fully corresponds to the descriptions. The kitchen is fully equiped. Every bedroom has an own AC, the beds are very comfortable. The ambience is fantastic. A car is needed. The outside area of the villa is really nice to relax, we could always refresh ourselves in the pool and enjoy the sun on the sunbeds. We would come back any time!!

Wonderful holiday

We had a wonderful stay at Manolis’ house which used to be his grandfather’s and has been renovated to a high standard. The house itself is really well equipped and spotlessly clean. Outside there are so many places to sit and relax. Manolis is an excellent host who goes above and beyond. He met us in the nearest town and provided a welcome pack which included fruit that kept us going for the whole week, cheese, bread and olive oil. Mid week the house was cleaned and Manolis brought us Moussaka and ice cream. He gave us lots of recommendations of things to do and places to eat. We travelled with a 1.5 year old and found plenty to entertain her. The nearest beach (20 mins drive) was sandy and had shallow calm water. There is also a very well equipped playground in the village. If you are looking for a lovely house in the hills then we can highly recommended this one and we are sure the others owned by the same family are just as good. We would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Truly very blessed and happy

Manolis’s hospitality has made a huge difference to our holiday. We are quite sure we want to visit again because there are a few places we have not managed to visit and we love this house! Fantastic house and outside area: We have enjoyed the beautifully modernised house and it’s very comfortable. There are so many areas outside & at different times of the day you can choose to either sit in the sun or chill in the shade. Night time by the pool is magical. It is a very family-friendly space inside and out. We love that this house has it own family history. We feel very private during our stay. Spotlessly clean. Well-equipped: It has everything we needed to feel at home and comfortable. (Apart from we have used the insect repellent device wrongly for a few days and God help us - Manolis noticed during a midweek house clean and corrected it) Genuine hospitality: Manolis surprised us with his level of hospitality and respect. Food, olive oil, wine, raki. We must say we are blown away by his and his family’s kindness, generosity and his willingness. We felt safe and at home. We are very lucky. *Getting there: You must contact Manolis to make sure you do not follow sat nav/ google map. We meet up at a nearby town next to a small supermarket and followed his car. One time when we followed the sat nav it brought us another way and it was not fun LOL. If you are planning to go anywhere in Crete you will have to go through similar small friendly villages. Smile!

Excellent séjour

La maison Querini a dépassé toutes nos espérances. Loueur avec abritel depuis de nombreuses années nous n'avions jamais trouvé un accueil aussi chaleureux que celui de Maria et de sa famille. La générosité des crétois n'est pas surfaite car à notre arrivée dans la maison, tout était prévu : produits frais, huile d'olive, raki, boissons fraiches, nécessaire pour lave-vaisselle, et j'arrête l'énumération car elle serait trop longue. Quant à la maison elle permet à chacun de trouver son coin détente et de se sentir comme chez soi. Tout l'équipement est d'une grande qualité, sans oublier le ménage ainsi que le changement de la literie et des serviettes deux fois par semaine. Nous remercions beaucoup Maria et sa famille (Moussaka et dessert faits maison) apportés dans la semaine pour nous faire plaisir. Si vous souhaitez louer pour un séjour en Crète vous pouvez sans aucune hésitation choisir cette maison. Encore merci à cette famille.

Beautiful house away from the tourist area('s) and not far from the coast. We had a excellent stay there and for sure the host (and his sister) were the best we ever had (and we rent houses/appartments for more then 25 years). I will not go into detail but we had a late flight and he foresee a meal for us (in the house and a "welcome" pack with fruits, drinks, ...) and we also needed to print a ticket and he made that we could do it in the village close to the location. Besides, always a quick answers to any mail/question whatsoever... Cleaning during the vacation... Do I need to continue? ;-) Thanks Manolis (and Maria)! Just for you info and it's not negative (we knew and didn't care) but it can be for other people: - the village is a somewhere in the "hills" and you have to drive always a steep windy road to get anywhere - the terraces are amazing and cozy but don't get a lot of sun (great in the summer (we presume)) Anyway, it was top!

Beautifully renovated villa

This villa has been beautifully renovated to a very high standard. It has a lovely feel and all the amenities you could need. The villa and pool were spotlessly clean and there are so many lovely outdoor areas that we spent different parts of the day in. Everything in the villa worked perfectly. Manolis and his family were excellent hosts and provided a wonderful welcome pack and lists of information about the local area. Everything they recommended was fabulous and it definitely enhanced our first experience with Crete. After this experience we will definitely stay in one of the various villas owned by this family if we return to Crete. We highly recommend this villa to others.

Brilliant Rural Villa

We really enjoyed our week long stay at the villa. All communications with the host were excellent. We really appreciated all the special touches such as the mousaka, wine, raki etc. The villa itself is wonderfully decorated and the outside spaces are particularly lovely. The location is extremely quiet and rural. It is a 15/20 minute drive along a steep and winding single track road to the closest beach.

Gehobene Villa in ursprünglichem Bergdorf

Große Villa mit viel Platz innen und außen. Vier Terrassen ermöglichen auch einer großen Reisegruppe bei längerem Aufenthalt individuelle Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Der Gastgeber hilft gerne und sehr gut bei Fragen zur Umgebung und Freizeitangeboten. Auch sorgt er für eine sehr gute Erstausstattung bei der Anreise und meldet sich während der Woche nochmals wegen des Reinigungsservice. Es mangelt an nichts!

Beautiful, spacious villa in a nice village

The Querini traditional villa is a really beautiful, spacious and clean house with a beautiful courtyard and private pool in a nice very small village. It looks exactly like in the pictures on the website. It is perfect if you have a car and want to stay away from crowded places, although it is not far from a lot of tourist attractions like Chania, Rethimno or the Imbros gorge. You can reach the nearest beach in about 20 minutes by car. Manolis ist a very friendly and helpful host, also checking-in and out was very easy.

Herrliche Urlaubstage in der Villa Querini Tradizionell

Der Empfang durch den sehr herzlichen Gastgeber Manolis am Anreisetag war perfekt. Er hatte eine kleine Snackeinheit, frisches Obst, Kuchen, diverse Lebensmittel und kühle Getränke vorbereitet und im Kühlschrank gelagert. Supertolle Idee. Das haben wir in der Form sonst noch nirgendwo erlebt. Das Haus und der Pool waren sehr reinlich und aufgeräumt. Alle Bilder und Beschreibungen treffen zu 100 % zu. Der Vermieter war ständig zu erreichen, sobald irgendwelche Fragen unserseits bezgl. Restaurants, Ausflugsmöglichkeiten usw. angefragt worden sind. Die Lage des Hauses ist schon etwas ausserhalb vom Touristenzentrum. Zum nächsten Supermarkt ist man ca. 10 min unterwegs. Darüber muss man sich im Klaren sein und ein Auto ist zwingend erforderlich. Wir werden jederzeit wieder dieses tolle Ferienhaus buchen, sobald sich die Gelegenheit ergibt. Nochmals vielen Dank an Manolis und seine Mutter, die uns einen Abend mit Moussaka überraschte und perfekt war die Eisbombe, die Manolis dazu besorgt hat und im Eisfach deponierte. Viel Spass allen weiteren Besuchern wünschen Fam. Becker und Bressan.
