Romantic, cozy cottage nestled amongst live oaks & palms, a block from beach.

This Four Room Cottage is set in a Magical Canopy of Live Oak and Magnolia Trees just one street back from the Ocean with easy Beach access.

The romantic and newly redecorated cottage has one Queen Bed; a Full Bath; Living/Kitchen combination; and a Sun Room.

After a day of Surf and Sun you'll return to rinse off in the Outdoor Shower, relax with a drink or meal on the large shaded Deck or lounge in the Hammock and enjoying a unique Island Experience.

A comfortable (yes, really) air mattress is available upon request to sleep a third person if desired. It automatically inflates/deflates so it’s easy to use. We provide extra linens, pillows, & bedding as well.

Quiet Getaway

This was our first time in Folly Beach and we had a great time! The location of Tim’s cottage was perfect. He was also a very responsive and helpful host.

Great location

Conveniently located to local attractions, great walking neighborhood. Property needs some TLC, steps from driveway to front door irregular and difficult to manage/unsafe. Bed very comfortable.

"Wee Rest" Cottage

Will stay again. Close to the beach. Property manager Abby was very helpful regarding finding things on premises garbage bags, propane and check in /check out was a breeze. Great surroundings with shade.

Folly Beach is great!

Everything was exactly as we hoped. The home is small, but it was just my wife and I plus our Weimaraner Floyd and so felt cozy but not cramped. Folly Beach is beautiful and the weather was good for this time of year. Every place we went was dog friendly and we met a ton of fun people. Will definitely be going back!

The Wee Cottage

The cottage is as relaxing as it can be. We sat on deck in the morning and watched the parade of folks going to the beach through the trees. It’s a quick trip … 8 blocks to center st. I recommend the cottage for a weekend away with no worries!

The deck area is really dirty. The yard is a mess. There are squirrels in the attic that run around during the night. The lights flicker. The shower has mold. It needs heavy cleaning.

Not the best experience.

The house is nice enough. It's very small, but it's what you would expect from the listing. However, don't be fooled by the claim of a fenced in yard. The fence is in disrepair to the point that my dog got out through a hole in the fence, and the gates are held together with bungee cords. The major issues were with the property owner himself. He came onto the property, unannounced, multiple times throughout our stay to put the trash cans out by the curb, and who knows what else. We were not told that he would be coming onto the property, nor were we given a heads up that he was there. We just noticed things moved around with no explanation. The biggest issue was that on our last day, a pest control service came and started spraying the property without our knowledge. Chemicals were sprayed on our stuff and we had to deal with a big hassle. A word of advice, don't book this property expecting privacy or consideration. It basically feels like paying thousands of dollars to be an unappreciated house guest. Go somewhere else, and you'll have a better trip.

Great little cottage

Quaint, private hideaway

The Wee Rest was an adorable cottage tucked away in a deep foliage of Magnolias and palms. It is an older property which was charming for us. Had a cute sunroom. Host was very responsive and helpful.

the house was small but a very short walk to the beach access. if you’re wanting to use the outside space, maybe look for a different house because it’s not kept up at all. overall, the inside of the house was fairly clean and we were mostly happy with the stay.

Fun at Folly

This cottage has the perfect location! It is best for two people who like to go out for a lot of their meals. The kitchen is very tight. We loved using the grill and sitting on the huge deck! Just bring bug spray. The house is adorably decorated and the bed was comfortable.

Amazing weekend getaway

Found this beautiful property on folly island. Even tho it's a smaller property like all the properties there there's a lot more trees around, making it feel very cozy and private. Me and my now fiance had an amazing time staying here. Personally I love the sun room

Needs deep cleaning (mold, dirty floors, rugs, walls, ceiling, vents, coffee maker had coffee in basket like someone tried to use it with no filter, washer, dryer) Owner wanted to spray for pests inside the day before Thanksgiving, this should have been done before we arrived. Lights flickered and went out, had to reset the breaker. Cracks in grout. We stayed in a 2 star hotel on the way home that was so much better

Wee Cottage is a great Cottage

Perfect place to stay for my spouse and I while visiting student at MUSC. Folley Beach is a special area. Wee Cottage is a block from the beach and a short 20 minute drive to downtown Charleston. Host was very welcoming and quick to answer any questions. Easy self-check in but always felt like I could reach Tim if needed. We will absolutely be back.
