Great place for a family vacation

Property was in good shape and had plenty of space. Our family loved the beach and the shallow water for the children to play in. Even though we didn’t have perfect weather, we had a wonderful trip.

The house and location were wonderful! Very private, lots of space, fully stocked kitchen for lots of cooking and grilling for many people. Would definitely plan to stay again. It helped that the weather was spectacular as well!

Relaxing getaway

Everyone from young kids to grandparents had a great time! The house is spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed kayaking (rented and delivered), swimming, beautiful sunsets and family games of table shuffleboard. We would definitely rent again!

Perfect Weekend

This house was perfect for our family gathering. It is located on a beautiful river with little traffic. The house has plenty of places to sit and talk or have alone time. I would highly recommend this property

Relaxing getaway away from it all

Beautiful property with lovely and relaxing water views. We enjoyed watching the sunset nightly. Located in quite neighborhood but only a short drive (10-15 min) to Chesapeake City to pick up dinner or walk around the little town. Would definitely return.

Beautiful Elkton, MD Property

Wonderful getaway!

The home was huge and immaculate. Everyone had enough space to spread out comfortably. Watching the sunset on the bay New Year's Eve was magical, and it was great spending New Year's Day relaxing together in the living room. The place had everything we needed for our casual NYE dinner. We will definitely return with friends and family!

Second Time Around

We had such a good time at the Chesapeake Bay House that this was our second stay. The house is nicely secluded on the water, but still has easy access to Elkton and all its restaurants and other offerings. The beds are comfortable, as is the furniture, and the house itself is well laid out to allow for you and your fellow guests to be together or find a spot of quiet privacy. Looking forward to our next opportunity to stay here!

Fantastic location!

Jeff was quick to answer my questions and was very helpful. The house was clean and great for our group! There are bedrooms on all 3 levels which provided a nice separation in the evenings. Water access was great and provided a beautiful view. I wouldn’t recommend swimming in it due to the murkiness but it was great to dip our feet in! We will certainly consider booking again!

Girls 5star weekend

House is exactly as advertised. It is an absolutely beautiful property located on the bay, amazing views, super clean. It was 10 ladies and plenty of room for all of us. If you are an equesterian its maybe 15-20 min from Fair Hill. It was a little chilly when our group was there but we enjoyed the views. would love to come back and enjoy the amazing ammenities outdoors.

River Relaxation

This house had the most amazing sunset views and we very much enjoyed them from the many sitting areas around the outside of the house, especially from the dock. The house was very nice and spacious. It was well equipped with everything we needed and more. Elkton was a new area for our family and we found the location very convenient to many stores, restaurants, and attractions. Jeffrey was very helpful and responsive as a host. We would highly recommend this vacation home!

Beautiful and peaceful house with private beach

Absolutely GORGEOUS and peaceful (quiet location) house with a stunning view of the bay. The house is beautifully decorated in a nautical theme and has a very calm and happy vibe. The owners immediately answered questions and provided terrific recommendations for local restaurants. We were a group of 10 women on a church retreat and everyone commented on how much they loved the house. We cooked in both nights in the well-stocked kitchen, and went out to lunch in town at Schaefer’s Canal House, which a 10-15 minute drive from the house. Would love to come back!

Beautiful Property

We had a fabulous time at this beautiful home. The deck, dock, and beach were well used by our group. We were lucky that the neighbors were not around during our long weekend stay as that may have affected our relaxing private water retreat! The home itself was very comfortable! Well appointed kitchen with most all you’ll need to cook. (I do suggest bringing your own bath/hand towels and washcloths, if you use. Only 1 bath towel per person & 1 hand towel per bathroom were provided.)
