Hello potential guests! Wallis Cottage is a classic, loved, fully-restored late 1700s artist's cottage filled with vibrant colour, creativity and comfort! Quite unique both inside and out with a raised private garden at the back. It is only a 5-minute walk from the dramatic Pembrokeshire Coast path along the Irish sea. The interior of the cottage reflects Fishguard's ocean liner history and is filled with references of sea crossings, ships, boats and ferries. The paintings on the walls have been created and designed specifically to reflect the character of the area and are for sale to our guests, making the cottage both a place to stay and an art gallery which reflects the beauty of the sea and Celtic landscape
In the evenings you can "cwtch up", that's Welsh for "cuddle", in the two living rooms, one traditional, one modern in decor. In the summer, spring and autumn the picturesque raised garden is private and lovely, a romantic place to share a meal.
And for your tummy there's an honesty cabinet stocked with wine and a full kitchen is available, although there are pubs, restaurants and good coffee houses near by.

Hello Richard, I wish you had told us DURING your STAY so we could have remedied the shower right away. The shower head is brand new and was strong and perfect before your arrival! I have spoken to TalkTalk and they have said with so many visitors online in Fishguard the broadband speed coming into our 16th century cottage is not as strong as it could be. Thank you for your review.
