Summary:
Beautiful bright villa with space for four guests, with private pool and rooftop terrace.

The Space:
This villa is tastefully decorated and is set on the stunning 5 star La Torre golf resort.

Two bathrooms, one with a bath, a fully fitted kitchen and a spacious lounge/diner. Outside is a large garden area with a private swimming pool and comfortable seating ideal for relaxing and enjoying the Spanish sunshine.

The resort has a variety of leisure facilities, restaurants, bars, supermarket, shop, 16 communal swimming pools, paddle courts and tennis courts as well as the onsite hotel providing access to the spa and gym.

La Torre Golf Resort is around a 15 minute drive to local beaches (both Mediterranean and Mar Menor/little sea). The local towns of Roldan and Balsicas have bus services and a train station which has a direct line to Madrid, Murcia and Cartagena.

Murcia benefits from over 320 days of sunshine a year and has a special micro-climate that gets warm summers and mild winters, making it the perfect destination year round.

Onsite facilities on La Torre Golf Resort include a small selection of restaurants for evening opening, snack bar/clubhouse open all day, special weekend buffets, 5* Hotel facilities including SPA, restaurant and bar and also pool (with bar service, for additional charge payable at the hotel). There are 2 bars, a hair and beauty salon and a very well stocked supermarket and shop… ALL within walking distance.

The resort is very safe and secure with security staff on site at all times.

20 minutes to the best beaches of the Costa Calida, 20 minutes to Cartagena city centre and 25 minutes to Murcia city centre. Murcia Corvera Airport is just a 15 minute drive and Alicante Airport 50 minutes.

Great house

Overall it was very good. It was new and clean. Unfortunately some things were missing as the parasol on the roof of the top. Definitely we will visit this place again.

Enjoyed our stay

We stayed at the villa for 3 weeks and enjoyed it very much. Everything was as described in the listing. All the appliances, TV working correctly. Would benefit from a new set of towels, a bit worn and drab looking. We paid for a late check out as our flight was late in the evening this information was not passed on to the key holder cleaner who arrived to service the villa at lunch time. The property owners were due to arrive the day after. Not really a problem for us but felt a little bit sorry for the cleaner having to come back later in the evening.

We intended sharing our feedback to VRBO followed by the response we received from the Management Company to allow people to make their own assessment of the support received from the owners/Murcia Vacations.Unfortunately, VRBO only allow 1500 characters in feedback.Basically, they allowed a couple of ladies (sisters) to inhabit a property that was not fit for human use.A couple of days prior to the rental, very heavy rain affected the area.Murcia Vacations called this a ‘Natural Disaster’ - it was a period of very heavy rain.For 95% of the stay we had NO water supply.- toilets would not flush- we could not clean anything- we could not shower- towels could not be cleanedAlso:- the swimming pool was not accessible due to a broken pump (MV did not fix during our stay)- wifi initially did not work- UK TV did not work (as advertised)Disruptive visits to attempt a pool fix, wifi fix and 4 hours visit on the Monday to restore water heating when the limited water supply returned briefly.We communicated with MV throughout the week but they deflected us to our Travel Insurance which they claimed we did not have (we do).The local keyholders were lovely.MV should not have allowed us to occupy the uninhabitable property and should have been proactive in finding alternative accommodation.They were aware of the problem prior to arrival but did not take actionMV returned 100 for lack of a swimming pool.We are certain MV will respond as they did to us.

Mi marido,mi hijo de 2 años y yo hemos estado allí desde el 12/08/24 hasta hoy.El Resort muy bien teniendo cerca los servicios básicos como por ejemplo un supermercado. La gente ha sido muy amable en general y el sitio tranquilo.El problema ha sido con la casa porque tenía bastante polvo, las luces del jardín y piscina no funcionaban y a pesar de hablar con la agencia que nos la alquiló no solucionaron el problema de las luces argumentando que el personal de mantenimiento tenía mucha faena esos días. Por otro lado,te piden que dejes la casa limpia,pero no te dejan los productos para limpiar (tan solo había lejía, abrillantador para el lavavajillas y una escoba con recogedor. Nada más).La casa estaba falta de menaje (no había ni servilletas,ni trapos de cocina...tan solo toallas de baño).Terminamos comprando nosotros los productos de limpieza, servilletas y papel higiénico. En definitiva,ha sido una experiencia bastante incómoda yendo con un niño de dos años y lo peor es que te hacen depositar una fianza por si no dejas la casa limpia a pesar de no dejarte productos para ello.Finalmente decir que nos parece de vergüenza no haber podido utilizar el exterior de la casa y la piscina por la noche por no habernos arreglado las luces.Por el precio que se paga por noche en esta época, es deleznable dejar sin servicio a una familia.Desde luego no lo recomendaremos a nadie.

Fijn, schoon en luxe vakantiehuis

Het huisje was heerlijk om er te verblijven. Netjes en schoon en genoeg ruimte om je af en toe even terug te trekken. Contact met de eigenaar verliep soepel en snel. Op het park veel verschillende bars en restaurants met wisselend, qua kwaliteit, aanbod. Goed gevulde supermarkt met vriendelijk personeel. Mooie omgeving met steden om te winkelen en cultuur te bezoeken. Minpuntje: Je krijgt gratis bandjes voor verschillende zwemparadijzen alleen moet je hiervoor een eind reizen en op het waterpark zelf nog veel bij betalen voor de glijbanen, bedjes e.d.
