We enjoyed our stay at Beth’s property. The location was quiet yet near to restaurants and beaches. We were very comfortable in AC and enjoyed the outdoor eating area.We will return.
Our stay in Bristol was fantastic! The house worked out great for us! Beautiful neighborhood, house was in great shape. Take time to visit Colt State Park, only a mile away. We were there for a family reunion and it was a beautiful park Beth, the property manager was great to work with!
We stayed at Beth's while we were in town for Newport Folk Festival and it was a great, quiet, comfortable spot. We loved walking to get coffee in the morning and wished we had more time to explore Bristol. Beth was a wonderful host and the apartment was stocked with everything we could need. She even gave us a great tip on pizza delivery after a long day of dealing with Boston AND Newport traffic. Would definitely come back!

Taylor, thank you so much for a nice review. Hope you can come back, and actually enjoy Bristol. Lots of fun restaurants with music, and of course shopping.
From start to finish, the owner and property manager, Beth, was friendly and professional and ready to make our stay successful. The house itself is spacious and well furnished. And Beth seemed to think of everything to include in the welcome basket, for us and for our dog.
The location is just perfect. It is right in the center of everything, with quick walks to the waterfront in one direction and the charming and quaint Hope Street, with its shops and restaurants and bars in the other direction.
Highly recommended!

Thank you James! I enjoyed having you as a guest. Max (dog) was a joy to host, always so happy.
The pictures on the site are representative of this great VRBO. 1/2 block to main wharf in Bristol in one direction and 1/2 block to main attractions the other direction. Host gave great ideas of what to do, very accessible for questions. Really comfy bed in main bedroom and twins in the 2nd bedroom. Big table for eating if you have a group over for dinner. We were in town for our son's wedding and it was a great place for people to meet that were also staying in the area. Host was super friendly, absolutely would rebook again if we come back to Bristol. Short drive to Colt State Park and Blithewold.

This is the downstairs unit which is very convenient and worked out perfectly for our 4 person party. We were in town for the college graduation of our daughter. It was clean and comfy and the hostess was fantastic! Thanks for a great weekend!!

Perfect in every way!
The house at 18 Church Street is informal, relaxed, down to earth. At first it appeared small, but once inside I discovered five huge rooms. It sleeps six very comfortably in two bedrooms with the possibility of more sleeping space on your own personal blow-up mattresses. The master bedroom has a lovely king size 4-poster bed and plenty of closet space. (I slept like a baby!)
The living room has generous, comfortable sofas and an entertainment center fully stocked with CDs.
A large expandable table, book shelves loaded with books, games and puzzles were in the dining room. We spent a few really fun nights after dinner playing games.
Just in case there is a chef in your party, there is a fully stocked kitchen with every imaginable utensil, pot and pan and large basket on the counter filled with snacks. I personally wanted to visit every restaurant in town -- yummmmmm!
A large patio in the back yard with a gas grill, tables and chairs along with lighting was at the ready for our use.
It was beautifully stocked with essentials coffee, sugar, snacks, linens, beach chairs, paper products and more.
Turn back the time! Bristol, RI is a pre-Revolutionary War town in RI and is known for the longest running 4th of July Parade in the country. My visit to Bristol was the week before the parade and this little town was definitely the all-American, red-white-and-blue village of years gone by. The house at 18 Church Street was one block from the harbor (Narragansett Bay) and one block from the sweet town center – a very easy walk to charming shops, restaurants, and historic sites – an absolutely perfect location. It is about a 30-minute ride to Newport and Atlantic Ocean (South ) and Providence (North). Also, it is a day-trip away from Boston and NYC.
I hope you can tell that I was more than happy with 18 Church Street. When I return next year (God willing), I expect that the work on the charming Victorian front porch will be completed and I can't wait to watch the town go by with a glass of wine from a rocking chair.

Love having happy guests that enjoy staying at 18 Church Street. We try to update a little every year, this year focus is the front porch.
About the host
Hosted by Beth
I've lived in and around Bristol, my whole life. I have a deep appreciation for the history around New England. I have fun directing guests to what interests them most, be it the beaches or the mansions. Last summer, I actually taught a guest how to clam and quahog. I say just ask, most likely I know the answer, or can get it quickly.
Why they chose this property
I have lived in the downtown Bristol area, on and off for 40 years. I enjoy the water, walking on the docks with my dogs. Stopping to get a coffee, then sitting on a park bench. At night, walking to pickup dinner, or just looking in store window. Always something going on.
