Having just spent the last two weeks in Valencia staying at Die Pause I would certainly recommend it. Be prepared for some serious step work as it is 6 flights up to the apartment. Once you have made it past this the accommodation itself is well maintained with air conditioning, dishwasher english netflix and washing machine. There is a comfortable double bed in the curtained off area of the living room and a single bed in the room around the corner (all open plan no doors). The shower room and lavatory area are just what any traveller would need (this does have a sliding door)A fully fitted kitchen with an induction hob for those wishing to eat in. If eating out is your thing there are plenty of eateries and bars all within a 10 to 15 minute walk. I would advise not to hire a car unless you intend to pay for parking every night as the on street parking is for people with resident parking permits (30 euro fine as we found out). We were provided with a travel card for use on the metro and bus services which are very convenient once you get your head around the routes (map was also provided). The landlady met us and checked us in, showed us around the apartment very helpful and spoke relatively good english. We did have a problem with the hot water but this was quickly remedied with a visit from the local technician, All together a great stay in this remarkable city.
