Unique treasure
Just as advertised. A beautiful property with historic background. Grounds are impeccable. Very comfortable and well stocked with necessary items. We requested a steamer to get last minute wrinkles out of a wedding dress and were accommodated. So grateful for the help and such a unique setting. Only regret is that we did not stay longer! Jasper is an incredible host.

Short but great
Only stayed a few nights but property was great. Nitpicking I would prefer if microwave was more accessible and the tennis court was a bit rough. House was clean and tidy and communication with owner was immediate. Spot on.

Hey I am Jasper, owner of The Old Bushmills Barn.

After studying International Hospitality & Tourism Management In Edinburgh, whilst working at Gleneagles Hotel, I decided I should bring my new found knowledge of luxurious tourism back to my hometown of Bushmills.

Before I could become a young hotelier, I had to become a builder. Restoring this 18th century barn was an education in its self and ever aspect was carefully thought through to give those lucky few a truly unique place to stay.

Incredibly, after just 1 year The Old Bushmills Barn won HC Accommodation of the year 2021. A year after this it won Self - Catering Accommodation of the year 2022.

This then presented the unique opportunity of being able to combine my love for construction and architecture with tourism once more. Check out our latest holiday home - The Old Mount Manor. Located 12 minutes by car from The Old Bushmills Barn.

In an area of such vast culture it is a rarity to find a culturally curious place to stay. Well... it used to be!

Bushmills is my hometown and although living in different places around the world I chose to move back to Bushmills and set up my life.

Bushmills is famous around the world for its whiskey and it is becoming a tourism hotspot with amazing eateries and attractions.
