Located in Bushmills, this holiday home is in a rural area and near the beach. Causeway Coast and Dunluce Castle are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Giant's Causeway and Giants Causeway Visitors Centre. Giant's Causeway and Bushmills Railway and Barry's Amusements are also worth visiting.
Our second visit to this mews cottage in 3 years & still beautifully presented - very clean, comfortable and a great central location in Portballintrae- within easy walking distance to the harbour, beach & local hotel. The host responded promptly & was very helpful with any queries
We stayed for 5 nights as a family of 4. The house had everything we needed to cook, relax and amuse ourselves for the trip. It's a short walk to a beautiful harbour (crabbing was a hit!) and just a short drive to various sights and beaches.
The place is lovley and all things worked as expected. The location allows to walk to Giants Causeway (1 1/2 hours). This is nice if you want to go there late in the evening. Also you can do other parts of the coastway and Belfast and Derry, etc from here
Our family have just returned from a stay at this wonderful house in Portballintrae, the house was beautiful and was equipped with absolutely everything anyone could possibly need.
My son's (11 + 15) enjoyed playing all the board games and I managed to read a book, all from the bookcase in the utility area.
We stayed to travel to watch our older son in the Super Cup football tournament so the house was perfect location for us to travel to all his games. We also went to some of the beautiful beaches and tourist areas nearby, again all easily reachable from the house.
Portballintrae itself doesn't have shops or places to eat apart from the hotels as far as we could tell, it did have a great Harbour and beach we could walk to or a 15/20 min walk took us to Bushmills that had plenty shops/eateries.
From 1st enquiry through to our departure after a wonderful 5 night stay; everything was efficient, comfortable, well equipped & so peaceful with stunning view over fields behind....5 minutes from Portballintrae beach... Such a perfect homely setting.
As a family of 5 we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Campbell’s Cottage this Easter. The house was like a home from home, with everything you need and more. Very clean and comfortable, a great powerful shower ( a must for us!) and great communication from the owner. We will definitely book to stay again.
