This home sits on a large quarter acre lot and is ideal for a family vacation/friends reunion, featuring a fabulous backyard with pool, spa, fruit trees and a kids' two story fort!
Minutes away from quaint downtown San Juan Capistrano home of the historic SJC Mission and where Orange County officially originated. The home is located in a small cul-de-sac in a safe & beautiful upscale neighborhood, with quick access to dozens of hiking trails (2 blocks away) surrounded by lush vegetation. Drive or ride your bike to the beach (less than 10 minute drive). From the backyard you can hear, the bells from the Mission and the train passing by SJC, also expect the visit of many birds, ducks and sometimes even rabbits in the evening. Short car drives to beautiful Dana Point, San Clemente, Laguna Beach, Irvine, Newport or Balboa Island and other towns and beaches. Drive a bit more than one hour to get to Los Angeles to the north and South to San Diego.
Close to many attractions like Legoland, Disneyland, Knotts Berry farm and a variety of other outdoor fun and recreational activities. Amazing yard, really nice house, great location for a family beach getaway

Backyard is the shining star of this wonderful home. All was great, only reason for not getting 5-stars was lack of closet space (almost all closets and cabinets are locked up), and some issues with both the dishwasher (leaked) and gas grill (was not cleaned, ran out of propane). Great hostess.

Wonderful home in a great location

Comfortable family home in a quiet cul-de-sac. The downstairs of the house had been very recently refurbished to a high standard with all new kitchen appliances, flooring, windows and doors. The swimming pool is large and our kids simply loved it. The owners were reactive to any problems we found and always available. We were very happy there and comfortable.

Short drive away to amenities and beach. Pool was fantastic with pool floaties and toys provided. Great to have beach stuff and lots of beach towels available. We like cooking and could have used a few more kitchen implements/dishes but otherwise fantastic stay.

Great vacation get away

Meri's house was quite nice, we loved the back yard. My husband and I get a house every year at the beach to spend time with our kids and family and get out of the desert. Our two grandkids stayed for a couple days and loved the planet room and the fort out back. We had my family over who live nearby and had a BBQ and pool day, everyone admired the backyard. We brought our corn-hole game and had plenty of room to play. We enjoyed the jacuzzi several nights and even took advantage of the fire pit and all had smores! The grocery store is relatively close, old San Juan is nearby and we strolled around and had coffee at one of the shops. The beach is 5 minutes away and we took the grandkids to Baby Beach one day and headed to strand beach another. She had everything in the kitchen you could need to put together a meal. I would highly recommend her house.

Perfect OC getaway spot for our family.

We had a wonderful experience in Casa Pecha. The house was in a fantastic serene location minutes from downtown old San Capistrano and beautiful Dana Point Harbor. The property itself was perfect for our family, especially our three children, who spent many hours in the awesome backyard pool and jacuzzi. The house was kid friendly with themed bedrooms, a lego/play area set up in garage area, and a cool little kid’s fortress adjacent to the pool. With a backyard firepit, comfortable outdoor seating, and idyllic open kitchen facing the backyard and pool, Casa Pecha and (and host Meri who made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit) was the perfect spot for our Orange County family sojourn!

It was close to really gorgeous beaches, coves in Laguna - to San Clemente and further. Kids loved it. Adults too... Outside firepit for nights. A big enough kitchen for 6 adults to hang out while cooking. All amenities. Clean and fairly priced. I recommend staying here for a mixed family gathering, as we had here.

GREAT HOUSE! GREAT POOL/BACKYARD! GREAT LOCATION!

We rented the house for 5 days. Our party had 5 adults, 2 toddlers and 2 babies. The house was plenty big for our large party. Everybody loved the house, especially the backyard and pool. The pool is much bigger than pools at other house we have rented. The outside playhouse and Lego station in the garage were also favorites of the kids. My son is already asking me when we get to go back to the "fun pretty house". Meri was awesome at answering any questions we had. We definitely will be renting from Meri again.

Spa quality backyard!!

Incredible backyard, it was quiet and serene. The pool was warm and we used the hot tub every night. Kids loved the s'mores we made in the fire pit. We loved the area and enjoyed San Juan Capistrano. The beach at Dana point is very close and there is ample beach chairs and towels. We had a couple of issues with the house, but the Owners were Great to work with! We spent 2 days at Disneyland. This house is about 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Perfect for us.

Tranquil, relaxing, with an amazing pool and yard.

The property was lovely inside and out. I was traveling with two kids and the yard and pool were a wonderland for them. The house is well appointed with everything you need for a great vacation including a piano, driveway parking, and tv's in every room.

Comfortable, cozy house with all the modern amenities you need...and awesome outdoor space!

We came into SJC for a soccer tournament. The pics looked great and the pool was a big draw. The house did not disappoint! Lots of little touches that made the kids happy and plenty of room for the adults. As for the owners, I had several communications with them before renting and all were quickly responded to and thorough. That certainly made me comfortable. You never know what you're getting in to. While there, they were put to the test when we ended up with an unexpected ac issue. I notified the owners Midday Saturday. I heard back very quickly and they were able to get someone there to address it same day! They worked around our schedule for the day and kept in contact until it was resolved...Thank you! We know these things happen, but we also know not everyone would be as responsive. Thanks again! When we're in the SJC area again, Casa Pecha is where we will stay!

Padre Serra came from Spain to this area, settled and built a mission. The mission he built is just 5 minutes away by car from our home. The history of this town is reflected in its architecture and quaint feel. Its very special.
