We can’t say enough about Dave and Sherry’s beautiful home. It was a perfect home base while in town for our daughter’s wedding.Dave took the time to give us a personal tour when checking in. And Sherry kindly stopped by to cover the patio furniture due to heavy rain. We also enjoyed an intimate family brunch the day after. The sun was shining and our guests loved spending time outside on the beautiful patio It was perfect!

You can't go wrong with this beautiful house, close to all the fun family offerings of San Juan Capistrano CA. You will be incredibly close to the main part of Capistrano. The owner is very helpful and always there if you need him. The place has been cared for with love and care. We plan to go back some day again.

We absolutely loved this home. The location was perfect. There was really no need for a car because you can walk to anything you need there. The host was spectacular. We would love to stay there again.

All I can say is WOW! This is a very special place. We rented it for my son’s wedding weekend, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. I only wish we’d had a whole week to enjoy all the special parts of this home! From the beautiful living room with its arched windows to the many outdoor areas—each with a completely different vibe and its own special place to sit, relax and enjoy—there was something to discover everywhere we turned. What I loved most was the character of the home. It has that distinctive old San Juan Capistrano architecture and a warmth and personality you just don’t find in newer homes. Instead of remodeling away all of its charm, the owner embraced it. His creative carpentry and thoughtful touches throughout the house feel as though they have always belonged there. He managed to enhance the home while preserving all the little quirks and details that make it so unique. It truly feels like a one-of-a-kind home that has been loved, cared for and added to over the years without ever losing its original personality. There is so much character and history here. It was the perfect setting for such a special weekend for our family, and we feel incredibly lucky that we got to experience it.Hosts Dave and Sherry were amazing! We got a personal tour from Dave when we arrived. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Holiday Stay

Beautiful historic home is located behind the Basilica in SJC with easy walking to great restaurants and entertainment. Our host was excellent, easy to work with and even decorated the home for the holiday in advance of our arrival. Plenty of room for our family of seven. We held a baby shower for our daughter one afternoon and all 20 guests loved the home. Highly recommended.

Amazing property!

This was a WONDERFUL property that exceeded our expectations. It’s a gorgeous home, with plenty of space for a large group. My elderly parents and young son were equally comfortable- it was hard to get them to leave to go anywhere else! We were in the area for a wedding at Ole Hansen Beach Club and were close enough to get there easily for rehearsal, set up, and the main event. Can’t recommend this very special property more highly!

We used this lovely home for our family to stay while attending my sons wedding. The gathering courtyards make for hours of cool breezes and catching up over margarita’s! We fell in love with the style and location of this home!

Perfect home in center of SJC!!!

Excellent location and a beautiful, welcoming home with great space to accommodate our family of 5 adult couples. The home had more than enough space for us to be separate or to gather together. The patio is perfect! In addition, the amenities were ample - we had everything that we could have hoped for. Highly recommend this for a group gathering space - you will love it!!!!
