Perfect location to stay when you're attending a wedding in Doolin
The cottage was perfect for our stay on the West Coast of Ireland. My husband and sister were travelling together to attend my niece's wedding. The cottage had everything we needed and more to let us feel right at home. Would definitely stay again if we are back in Doolin again.
A fantastic 2 weeks at Mary's Meadow with the most gorgeous weather imaginable. The fabulous: Cleanliness - Very clean upon our arrival.Location - Fabulous views, & walking distance to local pubs & to the Cliffs of Moher trail. Comfort - Beds were wonderful, & bright beautiful spacious lounge & kitchen were awesome with plenty of windows.Supplies - Generous supply of towels, paper products, cleaning supplies.Responsiveness of owner: We had to contact Paul because of a plumbing issue. He responded immediately & had it fixed as soon as possible.Areas for improvement/suggestions:Kitchen equipment could use some refreshing/replenishing but we will be giving Paul a list of detailed suggestions. As well, the lounge could use a couple of wicker chairs that could be taken outdoors & even left out during fine weather. This would allow for more comfort inside and out. Another reading light & a coffee table.Edit and replenish DVD collection.Hangars were really needed for the only closet in the house.Towel racks and hooks and shelves for toiletries in the bathrooms would also be beneficial.Review and replacement of in house signs and notices. All in all, it was the best house we have been in with respect to the views, which were a 10/10 - we are a group of 4 Canadians who have done 20 years of holiday rentals together, mostly in UK & Ireland. As to the overall comfort: with all the suggestions incorporated, it would have been a 10/10.
