Great Location

Perfect Seaside location. Close to shopping, food, the beach and fun activities. Our room had plenty of space for our party of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids under 5). Room was very clean...and you could even get a nice view of the ocean when you sit out on the patio. Such a great time!

Spring Break at Seaside

Property was in a great location. Easy access to beach and restaurants. Parking garage easy in and out. Felt very safe. Kitchen and bathrooms well supplied. Used the hot tubs but not the pool. Kids used the pool and game room. Property was quiet at night.

Inflexible Accommodations

We booked a vacation through VRBO at the Gilbert Seaside District. Originally two adults extra were supposed to join us but couldn’t because they were in the ICU. I told the property manager and they were not able to get us a smaller room and charge us less. Additionally, we left our accommodations early to go say good bye to our loved one who ended up passing, the same person who was supposed to be traveling with us. We were not given our money back for leaving early and they didn’t even consider giving us a credit for a future visit due to the unique circumstance. It would be better to stay places that are more understanding of life events that come up and are out of our control.

I'm sorry there was no smaller units available and it was beyond any refund I could get for cancelling. This is a timeshare resort and not my personal home so I have to follow the rules. Wyndham made no exception but I did try my best and offer a discount on a future stay.

Please note that room location assignments are given according to first reserved best location. Last minute bookings are tough so please know it is not the best located. Not every unit has a perfect view. Deluxe are floors 5-8 and standard are floors 1-4. I have many unit types including ocean front penthouses.

Oregon trip

Weekend at the beach

Annette found a two bedroom condo for us. Location and parking were great. Accommodations were what we would expect for a property that is basically timeshares. Overall enjoyed our stay.
