Friendship Breezes - The Perfect Island Getaway

Friendship Breezes is a two-bedroom, two-bath villa complete with pool and all modern amenities. It is nestled in the lush hillside overlooking the captivating waters of Friendship Bay, Bequia (St. Vincent & the Grenadines) and was carefully architected to maximize the enjoyment of the tropical breezes and spectacular views. Here, your mind, body, and soul can relax and become one with nature. It is everything you want in a vacation home.

The villa was completed in 2013 as our 'home away from home' and was designed to accommodate visiting friends and relatives, so the bedrooms/baths are at opposite ends of the house to maximize privacy. As a vacation rental it is ideal for two couples.

The bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans and mosquito netting, although neither are used often as the tradewinds are almost constant and keep the house comfortable and mosquito free. The office is located next to the master bedroom and has a double futon that can be used as an extra bed.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a 30-inch propane range, side-by-side fridge, microwave oven, toaster oven, coffee maker and more. There is also a propane BBQ. Other amenities include a 32-inch flat screen TV, DVD player, stereo and internet access with Wi-Fi. The house has been wired for both 220v and 110v which allow you to take any special electrical items that you might want to use during your visit.

The pool is a 10’ x 18’ infinity edge plunge pool which is approximately 54 inches deep with ample decking around it to enjoy the views.

Great hillside location with wonderful views. Our stay would have been more enjoyable if the house had not been "vacated" of wall art, beach towels, and other amenities listed on VRBO--the owners had sold but not yet transferred ownership, and the house certainly excuded that "vacated vibe" and is in need some freshing-up! ( And perhaps lose the camera system that is set up in areas that are NOT just on access areas.) Looking forward to seeing what the new owners do with this property, as we would certainly consider staying at this location again.

It was such a lovely house. The pool was amazing and so were the views.

It was such a lovely house. The pool was amazing and so were the views. The driveway was steep though and was a bit of an adventure to get up there. Otherwise it was a great experience, clean house, good appliances, and cannot overstate the amazing view.

BEST PLACE EVER

The house was beautiful, just like the island. We truly enjoyed the open concept home, the cool breezes and the private pool. The house was very comfortable and had great amenities. We would return here again! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Relaxing property with amazing views!

We loved our stay at Steve's beautiful Friendship Breezes during our time on Bequia! The house has all you could need from a well equipped kitchen to the pool and deck with gorgeous views over Friendship Bay. Steve kept in touch and had his wonderful cousin Shawn meet us for an easy check in. You can drive or get a taxi for a quick 10 minute ride into town or take the option as we did a few times to have a nice 35-45 minute walk into town. Steve left helpful notes and contacts for us that were very helpful as first timers to the island. There are a few provision stores and produce stands in Port Elizabeth to stock the kitchen which we used to cook breakfasts and a dinner or two which we found was nice so that we could rest and enjoy the house. Friendship Breezes definitely met our needs and helped us enjoy a relaxing and restful 3 days on Bequia!

Although we live in New York, We both have strong family ties to St Vincent and now consider Bequia to be our home.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property in 2020 from the family who build this fabulous villa as their second home and spent several months there yearly. The view is magnificent and the breezes captivating so the house was designed to capitalize on these features in a traditional Bequia style.

What makes this property unique

Ocean views are available from every room except the bathrooms. Views of Mystique at night and Friendship Bay during a full moon are very romantic making it almost impossible to leave at the end of our vacation.
