This property was as described and was in a beautiful, quiet spot. We loved using the fire pit and hot tub and will keep this on our list of places to stay in Hocking Hills.
The cabin was beautiful, the area was perfect, very centrally located to get to all the things we wanted to see and do. The cabin was very clean, the kitchen had everything you wanted or needed , pots, pans dishes, utensils, crockpot and coffee pot. The host was very prompt about answering any questions we had.

A wonderfully relaxing stay at the Overlook cottage
Overlook is a spacious cabin in a private setting. The cabin is immaculate, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The hot tub is wonderful after a day of hiking. It is our favorite cabin in Hocking Hills!

Thank you for the review...and for being one of our most loyal guests!! It has been an honor to host you so many times over the years.
We had a movie shoot at this place it was fantastic. The host was very kind and understanding.
It was nice, spacious and secluded so we were able to have a crew of 10 people, shoot the movie and comfortably sleep at night. We used the hot tub after a long they of shooting to release some stress. It was a very nice cabin everything was comfortable and to our liking.
Overall a great location, with some issues with facilities.
The location was great. The Saltpetre cave area was a great first visit. Appreciate having washer working and new flooring downstairs. Frig was leaking on floor when we arrived. May be water dispenser as we never used it, and saw no additional water. Shower heads should be changed out as dirty looking. Overall, our second visit in these cabins was very enjoyable.
Our first time to Hocking Hills. We were close to everything while still feeling secluded. We loved Lake Logan. The cabin was wonderful. We definitely will be back!
Picture's don't do justice...This place is beautiful with a lot to see and do. This group is not big into hiking so a 3 day trip was more than perfect for us. Very nice cottage lots of room ,very peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend this place.

Thank you for the review. It is definitely our goal to have the experience exceed expectations! I am so glad you enjoyed your stay.
The rooms were spotless, the kitchen was well stocked, however, you should supply sweet n low for those who don't drink sugar. My husband, son, daughter-in-law, and grandson enjoyed the hot tub. I loved the quiet. All in all, my family enjoyed the peace and quiet.
The location of the cabin is great. Secluded with woods all around. Cabin itself was cozy. Fireplace was a nice plus. Hot tub setup was good. Beds were comfortable but not updated. Appliances generally worked, but most of them could use an update.

Restful weekend
We have stayed at the overlook many times because we know exactly what we are getting. Restful accommodations and privacy. My only suggestion is that the dishwasher should probably be replaced. Dishes were coming out with stuff on them from previous guest and even when we ran it. Also it looks like there are some serious stains in there. I'm not sure that it's really cleaning them. Otherwise, loved our accommodations.
We wanted something on the edge of Appalachia that would both be deep in the woods and also have the comforts of home. We spent a lot of time downstairs lounging as a family. Our only complaints were that the upstairs TV was not registered (and so we couldn't sign into any apps) and the internet was a touch slower than we'd like (20mb/s). I had to work some days from here, and between everyone else using it and video calls it struggled. Not sure how much can be done about, but we got by.
If you're looking for a comfy, CLEAN, well kept escape, choose this place!
This cabin was perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 teenagers, and 1 elementary age child). Great log cabin-style ambiance. The lower level was perfect for our kids with the separate TV area, video games, bedrooms, and separate bathroom. Everyone really enjoyed the hot tub. The property was beautiful and secluded. Easy access to all the local Hocking Hills sites. Great communication with property managers!
