Garden Cottage 8 - Beach Path Cottage

Relax in this beautiful family-friendly two-story garden Cottage with an open floor plan. Sunny east and south-facing windows with large screened porches on both floors. A full kitchen with granite countertops, stainless appliances, an eat-in counter, and a large DR table that will seat the whole family. The living room has a sectional sofa along with wall mounted TV. The first-floor porch off the LR is only steps to the pebble path and beach. The first floor has a spacious master bedroom (KING) with a large ensuite bathroom. The bedroom also opens to screened porch. The first floor also has a full-size laundry room and half bathroom. Upstairs offers two bedrooms each with a private bath. One has a Queen bed and the other has a bunk and twin bed with trundle with TV and DVD player. Both open to a spacious well-appointed screened porch with great ocean views. A great way to start the day on Jekyll Island! This home has the Crane floor plan, sleeps 8, Great location to enjoy your vacation! In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island million dollar oceanfront amenities, which include Clubhouse with Billiard Table, Fitness Room, zero entry pool, a beach deck, and community fire pit. 4 adult bikes, 5 beach towels,3 beach chairs and beach tent.

BEACH ACCESS AT THE COTTAGES
Overview: The Cottages beach is about 2,000 feet long, featuring a dune area and seawall.
Access Points: There are three dune crossovers to the sandy area, always accessible for recreation. Main access is near the pool and clubhouse.
Tide Information: At high tide, water reaches the seawall, changing every six hours. Check a tide chart to plan your beach time.
Nearby Facilities: Oceanview Beach Park, about 2 miles south past the Holiday Inn, offers all-day ocean access. Explore all Jekyll Island beaches on their website.
Important Note: Storms may affect beach crossover access, and we cannot guarantee beach access at all times.

Couldn't be happier with the accommodations at the Cottages. Very nice updated interior, multiple beach access and the pool were awesome. Love coming to Jekyll and don't think we could stay anywhere else.

Annual beach trip

The house is very nice, plenty of towels and everything we needed. The beach was a close walk but was little disappointing due to lack of actual beach, especially during high tide. Overall we enjoyed the quiet of jekyll Island.

Fantastic family time

Our family enjoyed the home immensely! It was very roomy, clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. We stayed in Garden Cottage 8 , which has a view of ocean from upper screened deck, and it is just a few steps from the beach . We would definitely stay at this property again!

We enjoyed our stay very much. One small issue with the bikes was rectified same day by management. If we visit the area again, we will definitely be renting in this neighborhood.

Luxury Townhouse just steps from the beach.

We loved this high quality townhouse thats close to the beach and a great pool. Jekyll Island is well suited to biking so the cruiser bikes that come with the place are a great feature. We also liked how the area is not as crowded as other destinations like OBX.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second visit in this unit and our 6-7th stay at The Cottages. This unit is very comfortable for our needs. The only recommendation is that it desperately needs a new grill. We will be returning again next summer. Thank you for being part of our family memories.

Beach Getaway on Jekyll

We had a great stay at The Cottages on Jekyll Island. The home was perfectly located across from the beach access with a view of the ocean. Very comfortable, well appointed kitchen and we loved sitting in the screened in porch. Super fast wifi throughout the house. The community pool was quiet and had plenty of chairs/umbrellas. Thanks for a fantastic trip!

Tranquility

This property was exactly as advertised online. The neighborhood was so quiet, peaceful and friendly. The cottage is perfect for a family or a couples get-away. The upstairs balcony offers an amazing view of the sunrise. The trail leading to the beach is just a few steps away. This place was just what I needed for a quiet birthday weekend.

Wonderful

This was our first trip to Jekyll Island and this house was perfect for us. We had 5 teens and 1 preteen. There was plenty of room for everyone. The second bedroom upstairs actually had a twin bunk bed with trundle and twin bed with trundle. The little neighborhood was perfect to walk around and for all of us to walk to the pool.
