Beautiful Custom Cabin in Pinetop CC 3 BR, 2 Lofts, 3-1/2 BA, 35' Deck, Private!

Our cabin is a wonderful spot for a quiet getaway for two or a family adventure. It's 2800+ sq. ft. include three bedrooms, a sleeping loft with two queen futons, a second loft with a glass dome for star gazing, three full bathrooms plus a vanity area with a sink, a country kitchen with hickory cabinetry and all the needed appliances, pots, pans, utensils and supplies. The dining table will seat 8 people plus there's a breakfast bar. The dramatic 23' cathedral wood ceiling and full height windows of the great room overlook a forest of Ponderosa pines and oaks beyond the large wood deck. Exquisite lighting reflects exceptional architectural design! The huge Master Suite has a king size bed, a seating area with a gas fireplace, doors leading out to the deck, his & hers closets, full bath which includes a glass shower, garden tub and double vanity. Located away from the master bedroom are two guest bedrooms with queen-size beds, a full bath plus a separate sink and vanity area and a laundry room with everything you need. Did I mention the roost at the top of the spiral staircase above the loft? The natural light pours down the spiral illuminating the center of the home. The roost is great for stargazing or watching snowflakes fall from the sky. Terry & Lil designed and built the home and it is truly a wonderful place to be in all seasons, it is dramatic yet very cozy. The home is sited with north south orientation and it sits on a large, corner lot in a very quiet area of the Pinetop Country Club in the Cinder Mountain area.

The "cabin" is located in a quiet area of the Pinetop Country Club just minutes away from golf, tennis, an equestrian center, fishing lakes, hiking trails, wonderful restaurants in Pinetop with everything from Italian to Chinese, and a country market. Sunrise Ski Park is only 25 minutes away and the Honda Casino is 15 minutes to the east. There are shopping centers including major big-box stores within a 20 minute drive south. It's a great place to get away from the heat and the hustle and bustle of city life and still have amenities close at hand.

We were completely pleased with every part of our stay at this lovely home. The instruction document that the owners emailed after we reserved our stay was so thorough about all the different rooms, tv's, entering/exiting the garage/house, etc. This cabin is so comfy & relaxing it felt like we were home. Spacious place even with 2 toddlers and 6 adults. The place was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for our trip. Great location and nice area to walk with a stroller - on one route - otherwise nice hilly climb the other way. Nice pool table but we never got to use as we played board games. Would recommend renting again- owner very responsive.

Surprise ‘beat the heat’ getaway

Beautiful property…spacious clean home which was very comfy for 2 couples and a single person! We enjoyed the area golfing, hiking and exploring and had a beautiful place to retreat to every evening! The kitchen was well stocked with more than adequate essentials and the deck was divine! The owners were exceptional! Lil was very helpful and accommodating! We will definitely be back!

A great retreat

The five of us had a great stay over memorial day weekend at Terry and Lils cabin. Everything was as described, and the owners are very easy to work with. Other than some cobwebs in very high, almost unreachable places, the cabin was spotless. We had a great time, it was very relaxing, and the group built some great memories. We would recommend this to others.

Terry and Lil have a wonderful home in Pinetop. From the moment we opened the door we were very pleased. Pinetop is always a wonderful town to go to escape the heat of the Valley during the summer. Terry and Lil's place made it even better. Everything was clean, organized, and well-explained. Wonderful, responsive owners of a near perfect vacation cabin. Older folks need to realize that this is a multi-level house that involves stairs. Otherwise, almost nothing is lacking for a marvelous stay. Attractive setting, attractive house. What more to ask?

Terry, my architect husband, designed our cabin in 1997 and we built it in 1998. We have had some wonderful family times there as well as great fellowship and lots of fun with friends! As musicians and songwriters, we have found the peace and tranquility conducive to creating new music.. Our Pinetop home has truly been a blessing and recently have chosen to share it with others. We encourage you to enjoy our home, recharge your spirit and make some memories of your own:-)

Why they chose this property

We chose this lot to build on because of it's quiet location away from the traffic of the country club and it's north-south orientation with perfect natural lighting quality. Sited on a corner, the home has outstanding privacy from its neighbors and has several giant Ponderosa pines and a stand of lovely Oak trees that change with the seasons. You will love it!

What makes this property unique

Pinetop is the essence of Arizona's White Mountains, or 'The Mountain', as it is referred to locally. It is a beautiful little town located at the edge of the Mogollon Rim in the heart of the largest Ponderosa pine forest in the world. Trout lakes, streams and meadows abound. Elk, deer and black bear thrive here and there are alpine forests of Fir and Spruce just minutes away at the higher elevations to the east. You will find the local people to be warm, genuine and helpful to visitors. The ambience hearkens back to a simpler America with traditional values and a quiet sense of security and comfort. We have always enjoyed the Classic car show held each October at the golf driving range of Pinetop Lakes Country Club which is within walking distance of our home. It's like going back to a simpler time.
