We loved everything about this place and hope to visit again in the future! Springs are usually cool in Destin so it was nice to have our own heated pool. The home was clean and beautiful. Kitchen had everything we needed. Only inconvenience was once we were at the beach the nearest public restroom was a distant walk. Really pleased this was a quiet location and wasn’t crowded.

This place was a true hidden gem—perfect for a laid-back week at the beach. While it doesn’t offer a direct ocean view, the private heated pool and peaceful lake views from the balconies more than made up for it. The beach is just a short walk away, with access to a quiet, neighborhood-only stretch that felt uncrowded and relaxing. The home itself was clean, comfortable, and wonderfully private—exactly what we were hoping for.

The property was a cute little place and had a great layout for our group needs. However, the home could definitely use a deep clean inside and out, in addition to some updates and touch up paint. Some of the windows had so much algae buildup on the outside you could hardly see out them. The rug(s) in the living room felt very dirty and shed everywhere. We had a baby who was down playing on the floor and would be covered in rough fibers from the rug. We even put some blankets down to help. The carpets upstairs also would leave fibers or dirt all over her clothes when she’d crawl around. Not a lot of items in the kitchen for use. No Tupperware, scissors or oven mitts were the big ones we noticed. The landscaping could use some cleanup. The grill is stationary and was covered by palm trees and when you walked in the gate you’d get hit in the face by limbs (even at 5ft tall).

Great family stay!

Loved the home and everything it had to offer. There was an issue with the pool upon our arrival but the owners/property managers tended to it quickly to get it back in commission. The walk to the beach was short and easy! Loved the location!

A Restful Retreat!

Our family of 4 had a fantastic time at this beach house! It is just a short walk to the beach, and the house has its own private pool to swim in. The house is very clean and comfortable—it looks like the pictures. Highly recommend!

Everything the pictures showed

Clean property, easy check in and out. Ocean Reef great to book with. Only negative the pool had tons of leaves from trees that were right over the top of pool.

Loved the neighborhood! So snuggled in with beautiful trees! The house is spacious and so nice. We sat on the porch that was screened in alot. We loved the art work in the house, and all of the decor! We didnt swim much because pool was cold and in shade. Its a short walk to the beach, so we stayed there alot.

Great location

This was a great property. It was a less than 5 minute walk to the private beach access. A previous review had recommended a small fan got the bunk room in the master closet. We brought a fan and that was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.
