Incredible accommodations.

The room was everything the photos show it to be. Just a really beautiful and unique experience We did wish there was a bit more privacy and more to do closer to home base.

Hi Tracie, I am really sorry that you had these troubles....the first time I heard someone saying there is no privacy in the apartment. Of course it is not a private villa in the country, it is in the middle of the village, but it is written in the ad. You could help me if you say who disturbed you. For things to do in the surroundings, I am really sorry, but you were not interested: there are hundreds of things to do within 20 minutes from home: any kind of trekking, wine touring in the best and artistic wineries of Tuscany, Etruscan or Renaissance arts tours, natural reserves. You had your plan : in two days you wanted to visit cities 60 km far from home....like Siena. You could have visit it on your way to Venice. I am really sorry you did not enjoy and get the beauty of Maremma. All the best guys Gabriella

We very much enjoyed our stay in Roccastrada! The views of the valley below were spectacular! The unit was clean, comfortable, tastefully appointed and set up with modern conveniences and luxuries into the ancient rock walls of the village! Magical Montemassi Experience

I am a bit reluctant to write a review, because our experience was so special, so magical, I'd almost prefer to keep it a secret! The apartment was exactly as advertised, however, it is even more beautiful in person. No detail had been ignored. It had many modern touches, yet you never forget you are within the walls of a medieval castle. Here you can travel back in time in comfort and style, while feeling the romance of medieval Italy all around you. Montemassi itself felt like a well kept secret. While we visited or passed through many hilltop villages during our sixteen days, few had the charm and beauty of Montemassi, and because it seems less well known, it was quiet, slower, and felt more authentic. There are lots of fun and interesting things to do in the area, and the proximity to the Tyrrhenian Sea was fantastic. Just thirty minutes away from some beautiful, uncrowded, romantic beaches it was a quick and easy day trip and we could easily return to the quiet beauty of our medieval castle.There are also two nice restaurants within very short walking distance, and we enjoyed both of them very much. We could easily have stayed here forever, and we can't wait to return. Our host Gabriella was extraordinary, and may have been the nicest, friendliest, most welcoming person we met during our entire time in Italy. Gabriella went out of here way to communicate with us everything we would need to know as she waited for our arrival. Like the apartment itself, no detail was overlooked to make our stay magical. Fresh nectarines, delicious coffee, juices, etc. awaited us, and knowing we were celebrating our twenty fifth wedding anniversary, a bottle of delicious Prosecco was chilled and ready for us. She gave us many suggestions of things to do, and places to see including which places to avoid, and were very helpful as we explored the area. It was the prefect place to celebrate our anniversary, and Gabriella the perfect host. She is the kind of person that once you've met her, you'll never forget her, and we left wishing we knew more people like her. Montemassi was truly a magical experience and Gabriella's hospitality and care were one of the main reasons why. If you're looking for some magic and beauty in your life, look no further!

Das kleine Apartment im idyllischen Bergdorf ist mal etwas ganz anderes. Für 2 Personen bietet das stilvoll eingerichtete Studio alles für einen erholsamen Urlaub. Die Vermieterin ist supernett. Der kleine Ort lädt besonders Abends zu romantischen Spaziergängen durch die Gassen und zur Burgruine ein. Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen. VG Dirk und Anja

Wir hatten keine genaue Vorstellung was uns erwartet da wir sonst immer in grossen Hotels direkt am Meer Ferien machen. Aber was wir hier vorgefunden haben war Super. Das Studio sehr sauber und das Design wie aus einem Katalog. Hatte alles was man braucht in der Küche wie im Bad. Die kleine Terrasse gerade genug für zwei Personen war richtig zum romantisch zum Frühstücken oder am Abend zum Apero. Gabriella unsere Vermieterin so zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Sie hat uns auch mal Tipps gegeben für Restaurants oder welcher Strand sehenswert ist. Wir würden dieses Studio wieder buchen.

Wunderschönes, sehr gut ausgestattetes Apartment in sehr kleinem, ruhigen Dort in der Maremma / Toskana. Sehr charmante Vermieterin, die direkt neben der Wohnung selbst lebt. Alles sehr unkompliziert und angenehm. Perfekt für zwei Personen, die eine ruhige Zeit verleben wollen.

L’appartamento è bellissimo, arredato con cura e completo di tutto. La posizione è ottima lontano dalla strada e lontano dai rumori. La padrona di casa è molto gentile, cortese e disponibile. E’ stato un bel soggiorno .

In dem kleinen altem Burgdorf, sehr ruhig gelegen, das richtige zum entspannen. Leider am Abend wenig Parkmöglichkeiten, dadurch weitere Fußwege. Ansonsten alles super sauber und gepflegt.

A brilliant holiday at Via di Corte!

Gabriella gave us a very warm welcome, then showed us our beautiful apartment next door to hers. It really had the 'wow' factor, with many original features but also well equipped with everything we needed. Gabriella couldn't have been more helpful, asking us about our interests then suggesting activities and places that she thought we might like. We visited many places during our nine day stay and got a real feel for Tuscany. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a holiday base in this beautiful part of Italy.

Fantastic, Sublime, True Tuscany.

The appartment the little old town of Montemassi and the host Gabriella are simply gorgeous, a dream come true. Appartment is refined, it has got style and there is care in every detail, it is fully serviced with all you could ever think of using from the kitchen to the bathroom. I travel a lot, visit many hotels and appartments, what Gabriella is offering here is unique, a real treat in true Tuscany.

Accommodation in the medieval village with all the comforts. We spent a few days in beautiful stone villages, amazing apartment with exceptional service owner Gabriele.We felt like home. We were impressed her friendly attitude and willingness. Nothing was a problem :). In its recommendations, we visited beautiful places in Southern Tuscany, beaches, small towns and perceive the beauty of the landscape. It was an unforgettable experience for us.
