Greenwich is a borough in London, England, on the banks of the River Thames. Known for its maritime history, it's home to the Cutty Sark, a restored 19th-century ship, the vast National Maritime Museum, and the classical buildings of the Old Royal Naval College. The modern O2 arena sits on a peninsula to the north. Overlooking peaceful Greenwich Park, the Royal Observatory is the site of the Greenwich meridian line.
It's easy to get around London through the city's underground. The nearest tube station close to my home is North Green, a 12-minute walk to get to and connects to the Jubilee line. Alternatively, buses (161, 108 and 472) are available as well.
Furthermore, London City Airport is very nearby and takes only 14 minutes by car to get to.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
First the good stuff:The unit was pretty clean where it most counted. The kitchen was niceWe liked the location and felt safe.Right along the Thames river so a nice walk and view.We had good responses from the management Now the not so good stuff:One of the toilets had hair/dirt on the outside part of bowl (gross)Balcony table had not been cleaned for some time. Old soiled drinks rings, etc. Also, the clear walls of the balcony railing were filthy. We wanted to vacuum up a bit after a couple of days, but the vacuums didn't work well. I had to partially disassemble one to clean out the debris so the rollers would turn. One of the bedroom windows would not open. It was quite warm when we were there and there was no air conditioning. At least they provided a fan which helped. The patio door was broken and would not shut completely or lock. We notified management, but nothing was done our week long stay. The patio door was filthy. Grimy hand prints all over it. Also the gasket on the door was coming off, but that really didn't matter since it wouldn't shut anyhow.Overall, it was a good place. I would stay there again. They just need to up their game a bit. It could have been an excellent stay with a little attention.
From totally poor communication to poor maintenance we were sorely disappointed. To check in we were told to go to the “key nest” to get access to the flat but no one had any idea of what that meant. If they had just said to go to the super save store it would have saved much aggravation. When we finally got into the flat after having travelled more than 24 hours the door/mirror to the cheap armoire fell off the hinges nearly hitting our 90 year old friend. Then the window covering fell off the wall and the knob came off the bathroom door. For such a small place I can’t imagine how so much could be unattended to. It’s sad when owners leave the responsibility to third parties because they don’t care as much as the owners themselves. They also didn’t tell us the entire building was being renovated so we had workman hammering outside the balcony during the day. It was a painful experience all round.
