Kwik Kabana "Where the Beach Counts"

Cruiser friendly!!! Great area just across street from beach and seawall FUN. KABANA is located downstairs and I live up. You park at your French doors in driveway....can't get closer than that to unload...lol...private bedroom with tv and separate living area which has a sleeper sofa for extra guests. Tv and cable in both rooms. Private bath with shower. I furnish linens and towels. The Kabana has mini fridge, microwave and coffeemaker and I have dishes to make your stay comfortable. Great eaterys in walking distance. Ice cream too. Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn are easy access and Pleasure Pier is in walking distance. Very quiet area and private. I have created a seating area on lower porch for guests as well. Hope you choose me and come enjoy the Island.

Really cool place that gives you an elevated experience over the basic hotel room. Very safe and secure place for parking and lots of thoughtful amenities.Great location for everything as it is smack dab in the middle of Galveston. Makes it an easy drive to the Strand, East Beach or The West End. Multiple top Bars and Restaurants are walking distance as you are just one street off the seawall. Awesome host who is on property in different unit and a place I will definitely stay again as I am on the island all the time.

The unit was clean, the bed was comfortable, the location was easy for dinner and transfers. The AC was a little challenging there is no thermostat in the unit, the owner did they're best to control the temperature.

Our overnight stay at Kwik Kabana was perfect, even with the uncertainty of Tropical Storm Bertha! Thankfully, she was just a weak storm! Jamie went above and beyond in preparing the property, as it was part of a birthday surprise for my husband. My favorite part was the super dark bedroom with Elvis and old Hollywood themes. We had no issues with cooling. I would only suggest a thicker blanket or 2 for the bed. I tend to be colder and the linens were too thin for me, but nothing wrong with that! That's why I brought my own blanket! Communication with Jamie was effortless. Check in and check out were a breeze. It's a quiet property and very close to the seawall. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Jamie, for making the surprise even better!!
