The Annex (Shortflatt tower wings) at Shortflatt Tower adjoins the grade one listed 13th Century Pele tower. This historic building is situated in the walled gardens, ancient woodland and private surrounding land of Shortflatt Tower estate. This beautiful building offers a gracious taste of luxury country living with elegance and comfort in abundance .
The spacious Annex drawing room has luxury sofas and a feature fire place with log burner for those colder nights . There is a fully fitted kitchen with all the necessary amenities and ground floor bathroom and toilet.
The opulence continues with the 5 luxury en-suite bedrooms, rainfall showers and classically styled baths. Three of which can be made into twin rooms. One of the en suite bedrooms is situated on the ground floor for convenience, with beautiful garden views.
The Annex opens out to an impressive suntrap courtyard which offers a stylish area for a BBQ, drinks, private dining and relaxation.
With a variety of areas to stroll or to sit and relax in the garden and parkland, it is a wonderful space to explore. The Ancient tree lined drive is a kilometre long so there is great privacy and uninterrupted views.
If you wish to increase your guestlist, the Annex and the Tower can be combined as one. Shortflatt tower has 10 bedrooms, 6 ensuite and 2 shared family bathrooms with beautiful drawing rooms, dining room and AGA kitchen. Special deals can be negotiated if you wish to book both the Annex and the Tower, totalling 15 bedrooms sleeping up to 30 people. Additional children’s beds and cots can be provided on request.
