Super king bed with ensuite shower room, well equipped kitchen and cosy lounge /diner, elevated position with fantastic view of Appuldurcombe Estate and Stenbury Downs accessed by external stairs.

Dogs very welcome. Loads of fabulous dog walks around the village and dog friendly beaches short drive.

Short drive to the beaches of Ventnor, Shanklin and Sandown. Lots of classic, country pubs serving great beer and fab food on the island and nearby Godshill famed for its cream teas! Local farm shops and the Garlic farm are close by and the Wroxall Donkey Sanctuary within walking distance.

Perfect base for Isle of Wight Festival, great spot for walking/cycling holidays.

Self contained perfect stay for 2 on the IOW cycle route

A great place, self contained easy access. There is a kitchen area, clean and well appointed (no milk) but coffee and tea. Lounge is comfy with 2 recliner chairs and a table with chairs. The bed is comfy and huge. The bathroom is well done and the shower was magnificent.

Very very comfortable apartment

Its peaceful and has amazing views It’s situated amid many paths and trails as well as being a good place to explore this very beautiful part of the island by car You can watch the sunset from the secluded bbq area lounging on comfy sofas Marie is very welcoming - and yes we did enjoy the eggs from the hens who live there Shade in the shared garden if needed You can order bread etc from the village shop Very good if you’re on a short break or a longer one

Wroxall

Very pleasant and relaxing. Quiet, several walks for dogs, bus service 10 minutes walk away which runs every ½ hour so it is possible to visit every part of the island without the use of a car. Apartment fully equipped and clean, owner, Marie, pleasant and helpful. a lovely place to stay. Mike.

Short break in isle of wight

Lovely place to stay with beautiful walks and quiet area. Apartment well equipped and nice and private. Especially appreciated the fresh eggs!! Took our puppy who was also very well looked after with her own dog bed, towel, blanket and bowls.

I'm Marie the owner of Clevelands Country House and Apartments. I look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful island. We are situated in the semi rural village of Wroxall on the south side of the island, just above Ventnor.

Wroxall is within walking distance to Godshill (great for cream teas and pubs), Shanklin (fabulous beach, amusements, shops, supermarkets, cafes and pubs, also a walk to Ventnor (esplanade, pubs, shops, supermarkets) however I recommend catching the bus back up the hill!

The island is relatively small, so its easy to get everywhere by car (recommended), cycling is popular, as is walking or buy a Southern Vectis rover ticket and enjoy the fabulous island views from the top deck of the bus. Lots to do locally, as well as other parts of the island.

If you want to enjoy fabulous views, peace and quiet, love walking/cycling then you have a great base here at Clevelands. Everything is nearby on the island and we are central to all the best beaches at Ventnor, Shanklin and Sandown. Plus parking is included!

What makes this property unique

The view from Hunter Heights lounge is spectacular. You can easily spot Fremantle Gate, part of the original Appuldurcombe estate and the Worsley Monument atop the Downs. Its also the way to Godshill if walking or cycling.

We have guests that keep returning, as they just love the apartment, views and our quiet location at Clevelands Country House.
