Lovely 4 bed 3 bath villa-corner plot-south east facing pool-no rear neighbours

This fabulous 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, (2 of which are en-suite), fully air-conditioned villa sleeps 10 people with the aid of a sofa bed. It has been beautifully decorated with comfy sofas in the TV lounge as well as the formal lounge, gorgeous bedroom furnishings and window treatments throughout. Our villa is only minutes from Disney and close to all the other major attractions, as well as championship golf courses and wonderful beaches. A great place to relax and unwind after a day at the theme parks.This relaxing getaway is situated on a large corner plot within a conservation area, at Clear Creek. The large pool and spa can be heated for those cooler months and the oversize pool deck has ample sun beds for capturing those Florida rays, as well as a large patio table for alfresco dining under the covered Lanai. There are no rear neighbours, just uninterrupted views of a large natural pond and woodland. Enjoy the free wireless internet, free worldwide phone calls, Games Room, fishing rods, books and games.

This house is very dated. There were unfortunately restrictions on how low you could turn the thermostat and the house was incredibly hot. It was unpleasant to sleep in such a warm house. There were no paper towels or napkins if you plan to eat in. Also plan to bring your own shampoo and soap for showers. Beds were very hard, not sure how old they are and pillows were very flat. Lastly, I am not sure what is going on with this neighborhood but it wasn't very nice and not sure how safe it is. We will not be returning.

Thank you for reviewing our home, we do appreciate all feedback. I believe the photographs on the website give a very fair indication of the type of furniture, decoration and amenities our home has to offer. In fact in some areas updates have been carried out that are not shown, eg, new quartz worktop and sink in kitchen, updated shower and sinks in en-suite bathroom to name a couple. The mattresses are memory foam and there are at least two pillows per guest on each bed with plenty of spares in wardrobes if you had wanted additional. The air con is normally set at a comfortable 75 degrees but it can be lowered to 70 degrees, which you are correct it is the lowest it will go but I don't think it could be considered 'hot'. You booked for two nights and from your comments about shower gel and shampoo I think you may have been better to consider a hotel as ours is a self catering home. We give guests a start with hand soap, dish soap and dishwasher tablets as well as toilet and kitchen roll and bin bags but most guests understand that when self catering, these will need to be replenished by themselves. Lastly, regarding your comments about the neighbourhood, it is made up of mainly residential homes, Floridians who live and work in the area, it's not a resort, it's not gated. We spend most of the winter in Florida and have never had cause to worry about safety. - Sally

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay here this week while we were visiting Disney. The pool and hot tub were definitely our favorite features of this house! Everything was clean, the villa is spacious, and we would definitely stay here again.

The hot tub & pool heater had a scheduled time of 9 am to 8 pm, which was not listed on the site or shared by host. We found out when we had an issue with the spa heating and contacted the management company the first time. We had many issues with the spa/pool not heating during scheduled hours. And then the cleanliness of the place was overall good with the exception of the fans, ceiling fans & bathroom fans were covered in dust. When messaging with Sally the owner she was less than caring, she seemed to have the attitude of that can’t be right. I recommend the property if your not looking for later evening spa time & bring your own toilet paper, paper towels, & soap for laundry.

Thank you for your review, all feedback is appreciated. First I would like to address your comment about scheduled times when guests are able to use the spa as this is not the case, hence no mention of this on the website or information provided. It is my understanding there was not a problem with the pool heating but problems occurred when using the spa, as this was not always reaching the required temperature. The pool maintenance person and management company did try to rectify the heating of the spa a number of times but it was intermittent, with it working at times only to stop in the future. Some of your comments did prompt me to look back at correspondence we shared, I don't believe at any time I was uncaring, and the team looking after the villa tried their best during your stay to get things right for you. As things weren't 100% with the spa, when you requested compensation at the end of your stay, I had no hesitation in giving you a 50% refund on the payment you made for pool/spa heat, which I believe was fair as you were never without pool heat, and actioned this the same day. In regard to the dust on the vents, the first time you made me aware was after you left, I am sure if you had mentioned this during any number of the conversations you had with Ian from the management company, he would have been more than happy to sort there and then. Finally, addressing your last comments, I would say our home is a self catering property, we do provide guest with toilet roll in each of the bathrooms and a kitchen roll in the kitchen and we do normally leave at least one pod for laundry, as well as dish soap and hand soap. If there is not sufficient to last the entirety of your stay then guests would be expected to purchase their own.

Beautiful home, well stocked with everything we needed, perfect lay out, nicely decorated, gorgeous pool and view to the rear. Lovely neighbourhood and good location, close to Walmart and restaurants. We didn't need any property management help but it was really lovely to meet Ian the property manager when he popped in to check we were all ok. Great Orlando get away

Why they chose this property

After spending numerous holidays with our children in the sunshine state we decided in 2009 to purchase our much loved home in Florida. We wanted a property that was not overlooked and we instantly fell in love with the view at the rear of our property. Another plus is that we have four bedrooms, two of which have en-suite bathrooms and a third bathroom which is shared by the two twin rooms. A corner plot and south east facing pool rounded off our wish list. The sub division of Clear Creek is a nice mix of permanent residents and guests staying in holiday homes. Being close to theme parks, restaurants and large 24 hour supermarkets it was an ideal base for all the amenities Orlando and Florida has to offer.
