This was the coolest experience!!! We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was even better than we expected. The views are incredible, the staff is great, and the space is so unique, the pictures donโ€™t do it justice. It is completely secluded and surrounded by nature. We had a great time relaxing on the balcony and in the soaking tub, and there is a nice pool/pool bar with equally amazing views a short walk away. Cannot say enough great things about this place!!

What an amazing unique place to stay. The sunset views every night from our amazing balcony were breathtaking. I can't say enough. I could have lived just on the balcony. My only suggestion is instead of the tub a hammock!! I could have napped in a hammock every afternoon.

Excellent stay

The cockpit cottage can't be beaten - a unique spot nestled high in the canopy. The staff were fantastic and the space was magical. A wonderful stay!

Stay in the Cockpit Cottage

Great place to stay in Manuel Antonio. We saw monkeys every morning. Great views of the ocean. If youโ€™re an aviation fan, also so cool to be staying in a converted 727 fuselage.

Romantic Getaway

We stayed in the cockpit cottage and were greeted by monkeys which made me so happy. It was secluded but close to the restaurants and adult pool. The view was breathtaking.

Unique property with a great view.

The idea of converting the airplane to a place to stay was cleaver. We lived the uniqueness of the unit and especially the privacy of where it was located on the resort. The view was spectacular and we enjoyed sitting on the deck to take it all in during our stay. We would recommend to all our friends.

Airplane paradise retreat

This was a joy to stay in such a unique and naturally beautiful place. We enjoyed spending time on the balcony drinking coffee and eating breakfast, while enjoying the view of the jungle & ocean. I was amazed to see all of the animals in their natural habitats while we enjoyed our jungle paradise.

Unique and romantic jungle/beach getaway

Love every second of being in the cockpit cottage. We were surrounded by wildlife and the sounds of nature, waking up to monkeys playing in the trees around us. The staff was delightful, and the food was on point. A+++

Amazing place!

We loved staying in the Cockpit Cottage! It felt very private and immersed in nature. We saw monkeys and toucans right off our balcony. The private soaking tub on the balcony was also a great touch. The pool and restaurant are very conveniently located, and it's a 5 minute drive to the beach/Manuel Antonio national park. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful place to stay

The first impressions were breathtaking. My normally somewhat stoic wife teared up just looking at the view. It was a perfect place to make home base while we made day trips all week. I definitely recommend renting a car to get around while you stay there for any extended period of time. Can't wait to come back.

A jungle dream

We loved our stay, it was a beautiful view from the cockpit cottage porch. It was a great romantic getaway. My husband is a plane enthusiast & got a kick out of the property. We saw so much wildlife from our balcony; monkeys, toucans, & hummingbirds. It was a dream vacation stay!!!

Amazing views and great ambience

If you have the opportunity to stay here, do yourself a favor and do it! You have the sounds of the ocean right off your balcony. The cockpit cottage is such a unique and cool experience. The Manuel Antonio area is beautiful and filled with many wonderful restaurants, this is one of the most beautiful places Iโ€™ve ever been.
