Superb Villa with Ocean View, New Pool !

This villa is perfectly situated in the heart of Manuel Antonio, just 5 minutes to the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica.

From here you can dominate the whole area as this is probably one of the highest house in Manuel Antonio. Relax in a hammock on your covered balcony and enjoy pleasant sunsets and Pacific Ocean views. Alternatively wake up to a cup of Costa Rican coffee and watch the sun coming over the Mountains. This unique villa has tropical almond floors throughout the house and is blessed with the best natural light and breeze. This home has a large master bedroom with AC and king size bed and 3 other bedrooms one with queen size beds, Ac , fans and a private balcony . 2 of the bedrooms are smaller. There are 3 balconies to dominate the views all accessible from the living area via quadruple French doors. Should you need 5 bedrooms in Total , we have a guest house which is just a staircase away from the pool area which can only be rented to the same guests using this villa.


Amenities: : We have a pool and a 1000 square foot deck and BBQ which appears to be the 'hang out area' as there is a perfect combination of sun and shade. We also have the possibility of a chef, so for a very competitive rate , enjoy dinner by the pool. Enjoy life as it is suppose to be.

Activities: : Canopy safari, diving, sunset sails and dolphin watch, surfing, sport fishing, and all the best activities in Costa Rica.


Area: : 3 km from the beach, 100 yards from the closest convenient store, within walking distance to 3 good restaurants, Internet cafes, drugstore and a great coffee shop. 3 km to downtown Quepos.

We are not Located in a Gated community but in a neighborhood with other rental villas. The area is safe but at night the street lighting is poor. We do not recommend this villa for groups who want to be in a resort or for families with very young children as the bedrooms are spread apart for privacy. Be aware we also have stairs which may not be ideal for certain guests.

Great Stay

We loved our stay at the villa. I wish we had stayed here a few extra days instead of going to Jaco Beach. The villa is as described. We were a family of seven and had plenty of room and privacy. Natalia was there to welcome us on arrival. She arranged our Sunset Sails tour and our tour for the National Park. The maid service was excellent. Tamara also did laundry service. Communication was excellent. The pool was a nice treat. Shopping and dining all walkable. The house is a little confusing to find. It is on the right hand corner and could use a bigger sign to make it easier to find. Property is all well secured. We would definitely return! Thank you for a great stay! Pura Vida

Casa Alta 3 night stay

Place was beautiful and clean. Laundry service midway through was really great. Loved relaxing in the pool after a long, hot day. Natty was very nice and helpful.

Perfect for our needs

The property was perfect for our group of 8. Exceptionally clean house with plenty of space. The decks and views were great. My wife saw a monkey on the porch and we enjoyed the pool area every day. Natalia was a highlight of our trip. She helped with every step of our process and answered every question we had. I would book this home again just because she made us feel so welcome and made the process so easy. Thanks for the great week!!

Amazing getaway

This property has so many amazing features! The property itself was wonderful, very clean with a beautiful outdoor space and pool. It is within walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops and a short driving distance to beautiful beaches. There are so many things to do in the area and the property manager was extremely helpful in organizing itineraries. Our family had an unforgettable experience in Costa Rica.

Excellent location for Manuel Antonio

We loved watching the monkeys at sunrise, having wine on the deck during sunset, lounging in the pool after excursions, and being close to restaurants and the grocery. We’d absolutely stay in this house again. Plus, the concierge service is an amazing perk. She organized a chef to come make us dinner the first night, after a very long travel day. It was perfect.

What an amazing getaway

This villa was absolutely amazing, with so much space and was so so clean! We loved all of the outdoor area too with the pool and sun loungers. Natalia was so helpful and gave us so much useful information about the area which certainly made our stay even better knowing the tips she had given us. She was very communicative and we couldn’t have asked for anything better! Huge thank you to Tamara as well, she did such an amazing job.We were so grateful for the extra bed, this was very accommodating.

Absolutely incredible!!

We can’t say enough great things about how amazing our time was here. We came with 5 kids 8 and older. It would be harder with smaller children, but our ages were great! Property was clean, housekeeping was outstanding & house manager was more than responsive. We hired the recommended chef for dinners and one breakfast, and it was worth every penny! We had monkeys every morning, and a beautiful rainbow. Truly paradise.

Amazing find in Manuel Antonio area

This house was perfect for our needs. It has it's own pool and right next door is a soccer field. My kids love to play soccer so that was a bonus! Plenty of bedrooms with comfortable beds and nice showers. All cooking utensils and appliances we needed were there. Short walk to many grocery stores and restaurants and only a few minutes drive to Manuel antonio park and beaches. We felt safe with the gated property. We were able to watch monkeys playing on the rooftops and treetops nearby. The host was easy to communicate with and the housekeeper came every day. She did our laundry and folded it all neatly and made up the beds etc. We had a great stay here and feel like it was a great value!

Fantastic stay. Great house. Great location.

The house was terrific. Beautiful inside and out. I loved the private deck off the MBR (great for reading, a glass of wine during a rainstorm, or hiding from your kids). The house was well stocked, beds comfortable. The location is super - can walk to the grocery store and shops and restaurants. A housekeeper comes daily, and can do some laundry (which was so helpful!) The absolute highlight though was the house manager Naty who was INVALUABLY helpful in booking excursions and giving tips before our trip and while we were there. She was so on top of things and so kind and helpful. Thank you Naty for a terrific stay!

Paradise in Costa Rica - 5 Stars

5 BIG Stars from me and my 3 adult kids and spouses. Rooms were great and the space you get made for great evenings of playing games and talking! Plus, the place is big enough to give you some privacy when you need a break from your family. This kept us all sane and stress-free. The views from the house were top notch! From the pool or balconies, you can drink your coffee and watch a pair of Scarlet Macaws soar around the jungle. One evening we were visited by a family of monkeys and a few mornings we had a few iguanas sunning themselves on the roof. The location was great. You can walk to a variety of local restaurants or to the beach with ease. Taxis were also abundant and quick to come pick us up. Our host, Naty, was just the best! Hard to stress how helpful she was in planning this trip and how many questions she answered for me to make this one of the best vacations our family has ever taken. Thank you, Casa Alta! We will be back again one day!

Private Paradise

You're very fortunate if you are able to book this place. It was everything we expected and more. Very close to everything and yet we were still able to see a group of white faced monkeys, scarlet macaws, and a toucan on the first day! It is very private and the small pool was great for taking a dip after our daily activities. The layout of the rooms provided maximum privacy. The outdoor table in a covered area was a great gathering place even when it rained. There were a few minor issues (one upstairs shower where it was impossible to maintain the right temperature and some areas of the house got a bit hot), but nothing that was a major problem. Natalia was amazing to work with and was very responsive. She did an impeccable job of arranging our activities and they all went without a hitch. I would highly recommend using her far all activities. We were promptly picked up and dropped off everyday at our house. All tours were very high quality and the private chef Natalia arranged for an evening was great. The daily maid service was amazing. Overall a perfect experience, I would book again without a second thought.

Family Vacation

This vacation home was exactly as described. The home was clean. The house manager Natalia was fantastic. She communicates promptly and ensures you have a great time. During our stay, the gas for the stove ran out and within 30 minutes she had someone come to the home to change it. She knows the area and booked last-minute tours for the group. We would stay at this home again.

Beautiful home in an excellent location

A great property. Amazing views, balconies, and bedrooms. Our family had a wonderful time staying here. The kids loved the pool and all the nooks, crannies, and levels to the house. We weren't even at the residence more than half of each day and saw so many things - a parade of monkeys, scarlet macaws, iguanas, a local soccer match, and more. This place was in a great location and many restaurants were within walking distance. All the tour places will pick you up from this location. The hosts were extremely responsive and communicative whenever we had a question. We rated this 5 stars but had a couple quibbles that we just wish were advertised up front... Laundry is not on-site. A maid comes every day (which is amazing!) and does the laundry and folds it and leaves it at the house. This is great for the most part - but if you were planning on being able to do a quick load on your own, you can't. Lastly, while the residence does have air conditioning, it's not completely under your control. When you leave the residence, the air conditioning units in each room will turn off. The air conditioning unit in the main room will only function from 1300-2200. I will say we visited during the hottest week of the year and I don't think these things would typically be an issue. But, while we were there, the unit in the upstairs bedroom struggled to keep the room cool enough to our liking. We never returned to a cool home, but the bedrooms cooled off very quickly.
