About this property
Casa Pura Vida: 3BR Creekside Home in Central Manuel Antonio, Lots of Wildlife!
There’s no home so full of life as Casa Pura Vida, in Valle Pura Vida, Manuel Antonio. ‘Pura Vida’ translates to ‘pure life’—Costa Rica’s veritable slogan—and thus this 2-bedroom charming home is literally the ‘House of Pure Life, in the Valley of Pure Life’.
And it lives up to its name. Located along a quaint rainforest creek, it is surrounded by nature. The quiet residential neighborhood is known for its abundance of wildlife—monkeys, sloths, scarlet macaws, toucans, blue morphos, green iguanas, and many other animals are common sights here. Wake up to the sounds of the howler monkeys in the treetops, or the scarlet macaws flying overhead like ancient dinosaurs.
Despite being so surrounded by nature the home is also very central—right in the middle of Manuel Antonio, and no more than 10 minutes from the main beach, national park, Quepos and Pez Vela marina. There’s a bus stop just a flat 5-minute walk away. For hikers—you can hike to a couple of local beaches or a waterfall in about 45 minutes.
The home itself is the perfect Costa Rican getaway. There is an electric gate and parking for 2 vehicles. There’s a great pool, terrace, rancho and BBQ in the front. Entering the home one is in the comfy living area, which communicates directly to the kitchen and downstairs bedroom. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and AC, and is conveniently on the same level as the living area, pool area and parking. Upstairs there are two bedrooms with king beds, bathrooms and a shared balcony.
The kitchen has everything you need to feel at home, and the pool is a great place for a post-activity barbecue. Casa Pura Vida appeals to nature lovers and families, couples and friends alike who are looking for a quiet area and central base to explore Manuel Antonio.
