SEAVIEW FIRE ISLAND BEACH HOUSE

2026 RENTALS:

Peak season (Memorial Day to Labor Day): 7-night minimum, $1,000/night + cleaning fee. Early and late season (April, May, September, October, November) and off season (December to March): more flexible; pricing and availability upon request.

Main house has five bedrooms, three full baths; separate guest cottage has own kitchenette and full bath; large deck with outdoor shower and Jacuzzi, dining table, children's playhouse, outdoor movie projector, couches, grill, etc. Sleeps 14 adults with additional toddler beds and a crib. Great for multiple families!

House has all amenities: super high-speed gigabit WiFi, AppleTV, DirectTV, AC in all bedrooms (not in common areas), linens, towels (bath & beach), bikes (adults and kids), wagons, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc...

Just steps from the beach in Seaview, a quiet family-oriented community next to Ocean Beach. YOUNG-ADULT GROUP SHARES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN SEAVIEW.

Everything…and more!!!

We had an incredible stay! The charm, character and attention to detail truly make this property feel like your home away from home. First of all, Greg is the best! So responsive from the beginning, every question was answered immediately, with additional information provided. The extra accommodations made life much easier- bikes (adult/kid), locks, a wagon, beach chairs, beach towels…etc. The kitchen had everything, and more! The frig is a great size, so big and efficient. The ACs worked really well, kept the whole house cool and comfortable. The beds/mattresses, bath towels are all great quality! The location can’t be beat, just a few houses back from the ocean, and a quick walk to Seaview market and Ocean Beach. The street is quiet and everyone was so friendly. The house feels so spacious, huge ceilings! Lots of seating! We loved working on puzzles in the front room, or getting cozy in the living room for a nighttime movie. Oh, and there’s a projector for the back as well! Greg has really thought of everything and goes out of his way to make sure your vacation is the best it can be!

Farmhouse feel on the island.

Had a wonderful week in the home. While didn’t use a lot of the amenities available, the house was well stocked...we never felt like anything was missing. Owner was responsive to a few needs we couldn’t figure out and issues (BBQ and the wagon) were quickly resolved. Location is great. Just a few block from the Seaview dock and market. The walk to the beach was easy, with multiple beach chairs, umbrellas, tons of towels in the closet. Great place. Would rent again.

Great location, ample space, house old and cluttered, amenities lacking

This house is spacious and has many beds and many towels however the amenities beyond that are lacking for the price. House is advertised for 12-14 people but only 4 working beach chairs were provided and 2 half broken beach umbrellas. Owner includes a document that states trash bags and paper goods are provided however we arrived to no trash bags and closets are so cluttered that we had to search for the 6-7 rolls of toilet paper left for the week. The playhouse is stuffed with mildewed cushions so was not usable as a play house. Jacuzzi stopped working after 3rd day we were there and no one was available to come see if it could be fixed. House and all items associated need some decluttering and TLC.

Great house for large family.

The house is big. Great for large families. Enough room so everyone has space yet can comfortably sit together for games, television and reading. Set up so everyone could eat together inside and outside. House is a little cluttered and starting to show it’s age. Needs a tiny amount of TLC. I would rent it again.

The description was exactly as we found the home. Clean, spacious, easy walk to the beach, bay and market. Owner was very courteous and helpful. every appliance worked and plenty of dishes and towels too. j

Fabulous time at a fabulous beach house

We had such a lovely four day stay at this wonderful house! It’s situated perfectly between the beach and the bay, so we took advantage of both. We were comfortable and cozy and loved the twinkle lights (not to mention the jacuzzi) out in the backyard. Greg was always kind, helpful and responsive both leading up to our visit and over the duration of our stay. I can’t recommend highly enough!
