A lovely and well equipped property.

Ana was a wonderful host. The property is in close proximity to the town and had all the mod cons required for a comfortable stay.

Lovely and quiet yet close to everything

What a lovely house and helpful hosts! We arrived by train and our hosts picked us up. The location is perfect for walking in the historic district and taking the ferry to Tavira Island. We loved the market that offered fresh local produce and it is close by. The rooftop terrace is spacious and even with temperatures around 18C it was pleasant to have a glass of wine up there. The kitchen was well equipped. There is a stairway to get to the bedrooms and access to the roof is via a second longish flight of stairs that go up from the bathroom! A little quirky but it wasn"t a problem for us. If you have mobility issues this house is not for you. I managed the stairs with arthritic knees though I had to take my time and I knew what to expect from the information provided at the time of booking.

Nice views.

Just as described. Friendly and helpful hosts. Clean and tidy. Well placed for Tavira town. A lovely relaxing roof terrace ,ideal start for our make it up as you go Portugal trip.

Zentral gelegen trotzdem ruhig

Sehr schönes Reihenhaus über 2 Etagen mit Dachterrasse. Es ist perfekt eingerichtet und ist in einem tadellosen Zustand. Die Fähre und das Zentrum von Tavira sind in 10 Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen.

Perfect location for exploring Tavira!

So many positives about this place and also a few things to take note of. In terms of the positives, lovely owners and excellent communication from booking to check-in. House was spotless and the location is excellent for walking to all Tavira shops and restaurants - even to grocery stores which are walkable if you’re game in terms of carrying groceries on a longer walk. Otherwise, those major stores including the mall are a 5 min drive. There is a great pizza restaurant on the other side of the church - a one minute walk from the apartment. The only thing to point out is that there are 3 levels to this rental: kitchen is on the first floor, the bedrooms are on the second floor, and the roof terrace - which is absolutely lovely – is on the third floor. So if you’re vacationing with small children or others that may have issues navigating stairs regularly, you may want consider that. Also you have to pass through the 2nd floor bathroom to reach the terrace. Not a big deal normally with family but just something to think about if you are traveling with two separate couples and may want to use the bathroom while using the terrace. Overall, we really appreciated this rental and the kindness of the owners. Definitely would recommend and visit again!
