House beautiful terrace two more floors with own entrance and easy parking. The kitchen is equipped with appliances, dishes and other accessories to prepare and enjoy your meals. The room is airy and fresh, decorated with simplicity and good taste. The room is large and sunny, with two doors on the street, edged with beautiful bougainvillea. It features a double bed XL, a large wardrobe and mirror. The bathroom is naturally bright and has a bath. The toilet is separated, allowing an independent use of the toilet. The House Toad has a patio with a shower for after beach. The large terrace has tables and chairs, so you can enjoy it at any time of day. The decor is exquisite and comfortable. Note: Not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Full of character and charm, this place reflects the owner’s bohemian style. Great central location – close to shops, restaurants, and the ferry to Ilha de Tavira. The rooftop terrace is a fantastic spot to relax. To sum up, it's perfect for a laid-back stay!Our host was attentive but not intrusive, it's worth visiting her shop of curiosities...

Tavira stay

We had an amazing stay here! It was spacious, super clean, and well stocked with everything we needed. The rooftop terrace was an added bonus.The location is great, walking distance to many restaurants, waterfront, etc.Regina and her daughter greeted us on arrival, provided a lot of helpful information and checked in with us during our stay.We would definitely stay here again!

Very friendly reception from Regina and her daughter. Character accommodation in the heart of Tavira with excellent roof terrace where we enjoyed breakfast.Close to restaurants and the sights of Tavira.

Fantastic little home

Great host and location

We stayed in a unique very Portugal apartment which was just what we were looking for. The apartment was located in the center of town so we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. The host met us at the apartment and showed everything we needed to know and responded quickly when we needed help. Great stay!

My second stay was lovely

I love this charming apartment. Regina and her daughter Isa are the perfect hosts, and the apartment has everything I needed for a 4 week stay, the second time I have stayed here. It is so close to everything and very comfortable. Thank you Regina!

Cute apartment. Great location

Everything was good with the exception of the most uncomfortable bed. I think a memory foam mattress added to the top of what i can only describe as a box spring would be quite beneficial , better pillows couldn't hurt either.

Perfect Tavira apartment!

We LOVED our stay here and only wish we could have stayed longer! The host was wonderful and met us when we checked-in to give us a tour and a run down. The apartment itself is lovely - the highlight is the incredible rooftop! Such a perfect location to explore Tavira. We fell in love with this place and hope to visit again in the future!

Perfect Tavira syay

This funky apartment was perfect for our visit to Tavira. It’s located in a beautiful authentic neighbourhood within walking to all the best Tavira has to offer. A great week in Tavira

A lovely little house with all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay for 2 people. Regina owns the property - it used to be the family home and her love for the property shows. Not ideal for those who struggle with steps but we would be happy to return again.

Home Away from Home

The Frog House is very unique. A lovely setting of the house with a rooftop and the decorations has a very nice touch. Clean, well located, safe area and convenient to a lot of places. The only disadvantage are lot’s of stairs and not convenient if you have mobility problems, otherwise, you will fall in love with this place.

Fantastic house in fantastic location

This property is in a superb central location with restaurants, bars, shops and all the sights of Tavira just a few minutes walk away and lots of free on street parking. The house had everything we needed and Regina was so kind in meeting with us early due to our morning flight. The roof terrace was fabulous. There wasn't air con and there was some talking from the bar nearby at night, but both were not a problem. The stairs would make it not accessible for the less physically able. Would highly recommend this property, had a lovely relaxing time

Lovely house, a few electrical problems

Property is an old and quirky town house, decorated in a beautiful and original style. I would not recommend for young children as there are lots of steep steps. It also has a delightful roof garden. Regina is a very helpful and gracious hostess. We did have some problems with electrical faults which were inconvenient, but Regina did resolve these as quickly as she could.

Delightful terrace and perfect location!

Regina was very quick to respond to all our communications before and during our stay and was able to do so in French (which we appreciated). Her daughter Isa was present to welcome us (which seems to be an increasingly rare occurence for vacation rentals); she gave us many useful tips. Even though we were there in February, we enjoyed the terrace. The house is located near many great restaurants, a nice grocery store and the two pedestrian bridges at the centre of Tavira. We had rented a car and had no trouble parking in nearby streets. All the appliances worked well, with many options for heating during the cool evenings. Thank you Regina and Isa for a wonderful stay in charming Tavira!

A cool, design apartment in Tavira

The house is very well furnished, with particular care for design decorations, all very inspired. Very beautiful the terrace with view over the quarter roofs. The house equipment is complete. The only shortcoming is the absence of air conditioning, which - in hot weather cases, like we experienced in July 2023 - may turn out to be unpleasant. Air fans (provided) partially make up for this...

Nice portuguese appartment in the center of Tavira

I enjoy my stay in that 3 stairs portuguese appartment in the center of Tavira! Regina and her daughter were really nice and respond to all my questions before and while I arrive there. I enjoy the balcony for the coffee in the morning, and the wine at night. Really good local restaurant in the same street, and a sport bar just down the appartment. I enjoy the ambiance of that bar, with the good music, but for some people it could be not as quiet. You have to joint those local people! Don’t worry, it’s stop at 22h.

Lovely space, great location

Regina's place is a gem. The pictures are very accurate - although we felt that the apartment is even more spacious than it appears in the photos. Regina is a wonderful host - giving a warm welcome and lots of useful information about the area. As many reviews mention, the rooftop terrace is a delightful bonus. We stayed in November and it was warm enough to sit out at night and to enjoy coffee up there in the morning. The apartment is well appointed. The bed is best suited to those who like a firm mattress. Nice hot water and good pressure in the shower. Very quiet space, except as noted in other reviews, the bedroom is right above a restaurant bar - this didn't bother us at all but if you need complete quiet to sleep, it is best to know that. We would happily stay again and highly recommend! Thank you, Regina, for your beautiful space and wonderful hospitality.
