Cozy and elegant studio in the city center

The studio is located in the Born neighbourhood, which preserves the medieval Barcelona area while simultaneously breathing the bohemian air of the artists who settled in the zone during the 20th century, next to the Basilica of Santa María del Mar and a few minutes walking from the Palau de la Música Catalana, the Picasso Museum and the Ciutadella Park.



It is a building with a lift (you have to climb 14 steps to reach the lift) located two stops from the beach (Jaume I metro station: line 4)



It has air conditioning, a safe, and free Wi-Fi.



It is an apartment with an open space equipped with a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable living room in the same room with a dining table, sofa, flat-screen television and a double bed. The bathroom has a shower, providing bed linen and towels upon arrival.



This studio has a balcony, parquet flooring and traditional ceilings with a Catalan vault, giving it a very cosy and charming atmosphere.



IMPORTANT: To access the lift, you need to climb some steps. Building not adapted.

Our Reception is located at number 1 Passatge Sert, where you must collect your key between 9:00 and 20:00 from Monday to Friday (except holidays from Monday to Friday). If your arrival is on Saturday or Sunday (or a holiday during the week), key collection is at Aribau Street 228. Opening hours are from 09:00 to 20:00. Mobile self check-in from 15:00



Please note that if you arrive later than 21:00 and have not completed the self check-in process, there is a late check-in fee of €30. A member of our staff will be waiting for you at the apartment.



The Tourist Tax is not included in the apartment price. It has a cost of £6.88 per adult per night up to a maximum of seven nights.

If you don’t mind smells, and want the location

You make the reservation thru vrbo with your card, but then you’re contacted by ola living to send them money for the reservation, the link they sent only worked for me during Spain business hours. The company speaks English but seems to only answer one question at a time and it takes another 24 hours to get the next response from them. You have to download an app to enter the apartment and go upload a lot of information. On the day of check in a clock inside the app becomes a key and you can access the building with Bluetooth if you have cell service in Spain. You can connect to their internet but it’s slow and doesn’t really load outside in the bad smelling alleyway outside it. The apartment is up a significant amount of steep stairs, or you could take a small two person elevator to your apartment and walk down a small amount of stairs. Monday we arrived the apartment had a lingering smell of smoke. The shower head was broken, the water leaked out the door, the drain was clogged. The bed post was unscrewed off the bed, lying on the floor next to the bed. We used 1 of the 2 towels provided for our week stay to mop up the water in the bathroom. On tuesday they sent a technician to fix the shower head and the door but the drain still filled up, we shared a towel because at this point I felt bad for contacting them so much but Wednesday I called to tell them the drain was still filling and could we get a new towel since the one was used to mop the floor. I tried to wash it in the washer in the apartment but it still smelled bad afterwards. I called them at 10 am for a towel and they didnt bring one, so I called again at 6pm to tell them there was no towel and they said they would contact house keeping. In the end the water still fills the floor of the shower, so we just turned it off and on to help it drain so we weren’t standing in a puddle. The app they have you use to open the doors takes a while to load, so you stand in the alley for a while until it loads, it helps to refresh it. On Wednesday we went to the office to get a key, I recommend getuting the key from the beginning. The couch seemed broken or missing essential supports, sags in the middle The wifi is slow. If you need to FaceTime it won’t work but it works for messages and searching things The bed and pillows were comfortable! And there was AC. The location was great.

Really nice studio in excellent location

Had difficulty getting into apartment but staff were really helpful and sent someone to help us We actually got in before help arrived and after that everything was fine Studio was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our 4 days in Barcelona

Great! Somewhat poorly managed

Great place and location! Loved it. Problems: 1) they failed to set my expectation that I would be responsible for buying my own toilet paper and washing my own towels 2) the app is a PAIN because it takes minimum two minutes to give you your key (to unlock your apartment) and sometimes it logs you out entirely! Just getting into your room each time is a pain because the app takes SO long to load your key - one time... closer to 6 minutes for me. 3) The app is also TERRIBLE in that when you pick a date (say, your own birth date) you have to click back through every single month in history which literally takes minutes - an extremely painful user experience - never seen anything this bad in any app 4) Vrbo told me the check in time would be 9am but the owner of this unit said 3pm. How was I supposed to know which was true? This REALLY messed up my first day and created significant stress 5) last thought on the app which acts as your key - if your phone gets stolen or runs out of battery, you can't get back to your room! - I think an app as a key is a bad idea.

Excellent Location

We stayed in Borne 6. The apartment was really cute, and clean. It had everything we needed. Loved that it has air conditioning since it was around 90 on some days. Location: Apt is located in El Born which is awesome! It's close to all the restaurants and entertainment in the area. Most things in the area was a 2-5 minute walk. We were right next to the Picasso Museum, Moco Art Museum, St Mary's Church, Flamenco dancing show. Not to mention all the shops and cute eateries. 15 minute walk: Barcelona Church, La Ramblas, La Boqueria, Train station, Barcelona Zoo. 10-15 min cab rides: Casa Battlo, Sagrada Familia, Les Encants It was an excellent space for us and loved our stay. We didnt have any issues. We also arrived early and they held our luggage for us so we could walk around until check in. They also called to let us know we could check in earlier, which was great!
