This is a very peaceful place with a wonderful interior and lovely bathroom. The bed slept very well and we were comfortable the whole time. The owners have cleverly located essentials like a shelf above the tub, and book holders on either side of the bed. We really enjoyed the ambiance of the electric "fireplace" in the living room and the complimentary bath salts! However, more attention needs to be given to overall cleanliness--there was a yucky used paper towel in the kitchen sink when we arrived, dog food on the floor, and unwashed kitchen towels in the washing machine. The bathroom sink does not drain well. And while there is an electric tea kettle for those of us who are tea drinkers, be sure to bring your own tea bags because there was not a black or herbal tea bag to be found, only a couple of green (while there were several kinds of coffee pods, which my husband appreciated). Mini Moos or a real creamer option would be a big plus too. The welcoming guestbook lists local eateries and things to do (including a cute Sat AM farmers market in Crozet) and clearly lays out the house rules (be warned that you will be asked to sweep up after your dog, start the laundry, and remove all trash before you leave). Still we would very likely stay here again if we are ever in the area because it so private, quiet, stylish and convenient.
