About this property

Gite with pool close to the pyrenees & ancient Abbey of Saint Sever de Rustan

Situated on the edge of the sleepy village of Saint Sever de Rustan, with stunning views of the pyrenees our spacious gite, in its own garden with outdoor eating area, BBQ and ping pong table comfortably sleeps 5 people. We have lovingly renovated the barn to create up to date accommodation in a sympathetic environment with original features. The orignal fireplace remains in the old beamed living room and there is a new kitchen area with dishwasher and microwave and USB charging sockets.
The 2 bedrooms are upstairs and there are 2 more relaxing areas on this floor.
The swimming pool is in the adjacent garden.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please clean the gite to the standard it was when you arrived. Cleaning products etc are in the cupboard in the living room and under the kitchen sink
Please report any breakages and anything not working to us so that we can make sure it is in good condition for the next guests
Please come and find us to return the keys before you leave. We will probably be in the kitchen in the main house.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
We have a septic tank & a macerator toilet, so it is important that nothing other than toilet paper is put down the loo. Please use the bin provided.

A lovely gite in a very quiet location. Anthony and Kirsten were very welcoming and helpful. Great location for traveling around the local area including Tarbes, Lourdes, Marciac. Pool was lovely and needed on our down day. Definitely recommend here.

Relaxing retreat

Stayed 4 nights at Saint Sever des Pyrenees and had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Kirsten, Anthony and Scoobie the dog are great hosts - very welcoming, easy going and knowledgeable about the local area and beyond. Located on the edge of a small attractive village surrounded by a beautiful landscape, views to the Pyrenees from your bedroom window, it really is a special spot. There is also a train station a short drive away for exploring the stunning city of Toulouse. Really is a relaxing retreat - 5 stars - highly recommend and hope to be back sometime soon for more exploring. :)))

Farniente (ou presque) aux pieds des Pyrénées

Séjour très agréable au calme. Le grand jardin est parfait pour les activités en famille. Nombreuses randonnées de tous niveaux avec vues magnifiques sur les Pyrénées rapidement accessibles et beaucoup à visiter et à déguster. Kirsten and Anthony sont des hôtes très accueillants, jamais à court de gentilles attentions et Prince un camarade de jeux très apprécié par nos enfants. Idéal pour changer d'air!

Un gîte au calme

Un très agréable séjour passé dans le gîte de Kirsten et d’Anthony (et leur chien Jamay!), hôtes prévenants et délicieux. Bénéficier d’un très spacieux jardin privatif avec vue sur les Pyrénées a été très appréciable. Beaucoup de choses à visiter et à faire dans le coin. Bref, un excellent séjour !
