La Casa Del Olivar is a one-storey house located on a rustic estate of 4500 m of olive trees with a plot of 1000 m. inside where a cozy house of 110 m is located.
It is distributed in 3 bedrooms (2 with double beds and one with a children's composition of 2 beds) 2 bathrooms (one with bathtub and one with shower) kitchen (oven, vitro, washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, etc, crockery, cutlery, utensils, small appliances), dining room with fireplace and LED TV with satellite (satellite TV connected to the Astra satellite, check according to your country of origin that channels broadcast this satellite open) and covered porch with table, chairs and set of outdoor sofas.
The house is fully heated with cold / heat in each of its rooms. The house complements a garage for two vehicles, a warehouse and a barbecue.
If your idea is to travel with children we have a beautiful garden area with a large sandpit, swings, slide and some toys.
The garden area (practically the entire plot) has a well-kept lawn that borders the 9x5 pool. Towards this area the covered porch of the house is oriented and the barbecue is located (it has a sink, refrigerator, music, gas iron etc). Inside the garden there are large bearing trees, centenary olive trees and varied garden plants. The pool has purification equipment and lights, the garden has automatic irrigation (these extremes do not require any maintenance in a normal occupation for 1 week which means great privacy for guests).
The whole plot has a wide exterior lighting that makes the nights outside with the weather of this part of Spain, fabulous for meals outside, bathrooms, etc. The house is stocked with bed linen and towels. As well as garden furniture (tables, chairs, hammocks, etc.)

The access to the house is completely paved, having only to deviate from the regional road 100 m. The farm is located right on the border between Alhaurin el Grande (6 km) and Alhaurin de la Torre (8 km) villages that have all the services, (supermarkets, bars, restaurants, pharmacies, gas stations, etc).

Also we are about 20 km from Malaga and its airport and about 20/30 minutes from the main beaches of the Costa del Sol (Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Mijas, Marbella, etc). So you can be in the pool or on the beach but without the stress of the coast in summer. The house is located at the foot of the Sierra de Mijas and only about 500 m from the Laurogolf golf course.

The house is totally private and very quiet.

The house is ideal for stays throughout the year because sunny days are predominant and temperatures are very pleasant in this area because it is close to the sea and protected from the winds by the nearby mountains. You can enjoy meals, readings, conversations outdoors practically all year.

We spent a little over seven weeks at La Casa del Olivar Encina in Urb. Buenavista, Alhaurín de la Torre, and our experience could not have been better. The property is spacious, beautifully maintained, and offers complete privacy thanks to its fully secured and barely visible grounds. It truly feels like a peaceful oasis.The house itself is large and extremely comfortable: three cozy bedrooms, two modern bathrooms, a well‑equipped and functional kitchen, and a huge living and dining area that makes everyday life wonderfully relaxed. Everything is thoughtfully arranged to make guests feel at home from the very first moment.A special mention goes to the owner, Antonio. He is discreet, exceptionally friendly, and always ready to help immediately if anything needs attention. His warm and professional approach added greatly to the quality of our stay.The location is another highlight. The house is just a short drive from Alhaurín el Grande, where you can find absolutely everything—countless restaurants, shops, and all the infrastructure you might need. Málaga is also conveniently close, only about 30 minutes away.In short: everything was perfect. We had a fantastic time and can wholeheartedly recommend La Casa del Olivar Encina to anyone looking for a beautiful, private, and well‑situated place to stay in the region.

Nice vacation

The house was nice, clean. We did not have a pair of scissors, but the next day the owner brought it. And everything we asked was not a problem. He did everything to make amazing. the guests it comfortably.

Perfect place to chill

House had everything we needed to relax and unwind. Lovely rural location but within easy reach of local facilities. Management were extremely helpful too. Would totally recommend this property.

Excellent, in every respect. Secure, private accommodation. House clean and well equipped. Garden cared for and provided both sunshine and shade. Pool clean and well maintained. Air conditioning in all rooms a bonus when temperatures approached 40 degrees. Would recommend without reservation.

superb on every level

the villa was absolutely perfect. Antonio was always available and was really helpful. the outdoor space is fantastic. we had a labrador with us and he loved it as much as we did ! the pool area was great - we ate outside every night in a fantastic setting and lovely temperature. We would highly recommend this villa and any others that Antonio deals with as he really takes care of his guests. We will definitely be back next year.

I like that you refer to how comfortable your dog was, because many people want to travel with their dogs (which are part of their family) they know that here they have the tranquility of a completely fenced land, good places to walk, etc. I also thank you for your words towards me, I have been receiving guests for 15 years (now there are many new vacation rental houses) but my experience is that a close owner, willing to help or solve small problems that arise is very important for a vacation home be appreciated by visitors. Obviously, since the weather is usually good, having outdoor spaces to eat, read, etc. is also fabulous. Lovely!!!

Fantastic holiday, Antonio met us at the local golf club on the day of arrival and led us to the villa. We had a problem with the hot water and emailed Antonio, he was on site within 15 minutes, he couldn't fix the problem, so he came back later with a plumber to sort out the problem. The rest of the holiday was a dream. The villa is a little way up in the mountains, but close enough to everything you need as long as you have a car. Torremolinos and Benalmadena are both 25 minutes away, as is Malaga Airport. Alhaurin de la Torre and Alhaurin el Grande are both really close (8-10 mins) and have everything that you need (Aldi, Lidl, Supersol, Mercadona). A great break, one of the nicest villas with a fantastic pool and outdoor area, we will definitely stay again. Thanks Antonio Nigel & Suzanne Williams

Good value for money, helpful owner, however, some maintenance required

Antonio met us at the nearby Lauro golf club and showed us around the house a bit sooner than planned, as it was ready early. The property is obviously very popular, it has a pleasant feel to it with some nice nick knacks inside and outside the house, and a lovely private pool . However, we only gave it 4, not 5, out of 5, as we felt it can benefit from a little time spent fixing a few things and adding some items for the kitchen. Our main concern was our first night when we had a huge storm with heavy rain and winds, and found that, in the middle of the night, water was coming in through the roof, and actually dripping onto the bed (in fairness it was an exceptionally bad storm). It also came in through other cracks in the roof, particularly the kitchen. The next morning Antonio came round early to see if we were OK, and to see if there was any damage (other areas had suffered floods, fallen trees etc.), and we told him we simply moved bedrooms, and that everything was fine except for the rain problem, and that we were perfectly alright - the water on the floors simply evaporated the next day, but we felt Antonio was very concerned and I'm sure he'd have been happy to have done whatever he could if necessary. As he's a builder, we hope the cracks are repaired before the next storm (and/or the next occupier?). Antonio pointed out that the pool filter pump had stopped working, but we told Antonio we didn't mind, as the water was clean and we didn't mind helping to skim off anything that had fallen in, i.e leaves etc. which were minimal. We hope Antonio would have arranged to have this fixed once we had left. Generally, we felt the property could have benefited from a little TLC, for example, in the kitchen there was only one tea towel, only two refuse bags, no oven gloves, only a few washing machine and dishwasher tablets, the rubber seal on the freezer hangs off when opened, and outside the sun lounger cushions were either split or just very worn, and need replacing. We also couldn't get a wi-fi signal all the time we stayed there, which was a little disappointing. That said, we nonetheless enjoyed our stay and feel the property was good value for the amenities it offered, and it was an easy drive to Malaga and the coast. With a little TLC Antonio can offer a very nice rental property .

Hello I am very sorry for the problems caused by the storm, the strongest in the area in 30 years, many families lost their homes, demolished walls, damaged roads and closed schools in the town (you can look at it in the news), this house was built by me about 15 years and never gave problems, the extraordinary storm of more than 400 liters in less than an hour with hail and wind made a few drops enter the house. Thank you for referring it as if it were a big house defect. You called me several times and I went to the house to solve problems that were obvious and you never told me that you needed those things in the kitchen, which I have replaced for the following guests, if you request them you have them at the house at the minute. Just because of the storm I imagine, there was the internet problem, but you don't tell me anything, it was the next guest who told me that the internet was not working and with a single call the internet company solved the problem by remote control. I am always 24 hours a day accessible to my guests but if they do not tell me they need something that on the other hand does not put in the announcement that I have the house as an oven mitt or dishwasher tablets I can not solve. But I see that they are vital things for you. I only ask people who read your comment to read the other 48 that I have on this website with an average of 4.85 out of 5. Thanks for spending a few days at my house

Buena ubicacion, pobre comunicacion con el propietario

El alojamiento es decente, razonablemente limpio. Las camas un poco pequenas. La ubicacion es muy buena aunque debido a los incendios la primera noche la tuvimos que pasar en un hotel que tuvimos que gestionar por nuestra cuenta. El propietario nos ofrecio contactar con el si no encontrabamos alojamiento pero no nos dio ninguna solucion de entrada, salvo su pesar por lo ocurrido. La noche no nos ha sido devuelta a pesar de no haberla disfrutado (somos conscientes de que no habia ningun seguro pero el propietario tampoco se intereso por si lo teniamos o no). La comunicacion con el propietario ha sido mas bien nula, le enviamos un whatsapp preguntando sobre la fosa septica y todavia estamos esperando la respuesta. El Jueves paseando vimos una furgoneta vendiendo comida en la urbanizacion pero esto tampoco nos lo conto el propietario. Si lo hubieramos sabido habriamos comprado para ayudar a la economia local. El dia que entramos se ofrecio a traer las colchonetas para las hamacas de la piscina y nunca las trajo. En resumen, la casa esta bien, la piscina es grande y el jardin muy agradable. La plancha hace muy facil el plan de comidas. Accommodation is decent, reasonably clean. The beds a bit small. The location is very good, although due to the fires we had to spend the first night in a hotel that we had to manage on our own. The owner offered us to contact him if we could not find accommodation but he did not give us any input solution, except his regret for what happened. The night has not been returned to us despite not having enjoyed it (we are aware that there was no insurance but the owner was not interested in whether we had it or not). The communication with the owner has been rather null, we sent him a WhatsApp asking about the septic tank and we are still waiting for the answer. On Thursday we were walking and saw a van selling food in the urbanization but the owner did not tell us about this either. If we had known, we would have bought some products to support the local economy. The day we entered he offered to bring some towels and never brought them. We missed the mats for the pool hammocks, they were really uncomfortable. Summarising, the house is fine, the pool is large and the garden is very nice. The griddle makes meal planning very easy and quick. We'll come back to Costa del Sol next summer but unfortunately not to this villa.

Daniel gracias por dedicar tu tiempo a escribir un comentario. Ante todo pido a los huespedes que dediquen unos minutos a leer algunos de los 53 comentarios que tengo en esta web relativos a casi 7 años que llevo alquilando mis casas donde casi todos son 5 estrellas (la maxima puntuacion) y casi todos hablan de mi cercania con los huespedes, a la rapida atencion ante sus necesidades durante la estancia, a la solucion de problemas y en definitiva soy un propietario (dispongo de 5 casas de vacaciones que gestiono yo personalmente) que me dedico 100% a mis huespedes pues no trabajo en otra cosa, me dedico exclusivamente a tener mis casas en perfectas condiciones y atender a los huespedes. Respondi a no menos de 10 comunicaciones tuyas por telefono o whatsapp, mis 5 casas tienen en total mas de 35 hamacas de jardin (todas iguales) que utilizan muchisimos huespedes al año de todos los paises y nadie me ha pedido colchonetas por que no las necesitan, aun asi ti tu me la hubieses solicitado hubiese llevado las de mi casa especialmente para ti. La venta de comida ambulante como tu dices esta prohibida aqui y en la mayoria de los lugares de Andalucia por motivo de sanidad, lo unico que pasa 5 dias a la semana es el panadero, olvide de decirtelo. Si tan interesado estas en la economia local, muchos de nosotros vivimos del turismo y lo que debes hacer es aconsejar a otros huespedes que nos visiten (como han hecho la mayoria de los 53 comentarios 5 estrellas de esta casa) y no protestar porque viste a alguien vendiendo comida y yo no te avise, que repito era el panadero vendiendo pan. Otro de los aspectos que destacan los huespedes de mis casas es lo limpias, bien equipadas y la decoracion que tienen mis casas. Las personas que recibas en tu casa deben de estar extremadamente satisfechos porque saben que tu casa debe de estar brillante, les felicito. En cuanto a lo de la fosa septica, no se de que me hablas. En la casa hay una breve indicacion diciendo que es una casa en el campo que no dispone de alcantarillado y las aguas sucias van a una fosa septica biologica. Por lo tanto que no tiren toallitas por el water. Y por ultimo el incendio del dia de tu llegada. Miles de personas de mi pueblo (entre ellos mi madre y mis hermanos que viven a lado de la casa que tu alquilaste) fueron desalogados por la policia y durante 2 noches no pudieron ir a sus casas, hice todo lo posible por atender a todo el mundo en una situcion de emergencia, tu no quedaste satisfecho, pero nunca

Wir waren nun schon zum zweiten Mal hier und haben den Aufenthalt wirklich sehr genossen! Der Außenbereich wurde renoviert und ist nun noch schöner. Die Schlafzimmer und das Kinderzimmer wurden ebenfalls neu gestaltet und haben uns allen sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Haus weiter empfehlen!

Antonio es un anfitrión atento, muy amable, siempre disponible, educadisimo y detallista.La casa estaba limpisima, completamente acondicionada hasta el último detalle. Todo el mobiliario en perfecto estado, muy cómodo y funcional.El porche es precioso con vistas a la maravillosa piscina, con escalones y barandilla perfecta para personas con algún pequeño problema de movilidad.El barrio es muy tranquilo y de muy fácil acceso para llegar.El WiFi funciona de maravilla.Tiene aire acondicionado perfecto para las horas de más calor.Ha sido una semana estupenda la que hemos pasado mi marido y yo junto a nuestra perrita en un entorno tranquilo, relajado y perfecto para desconectar.

Thanks for your comment. Well, it's not a comment, they're exasperations that I'm going to clarify, but not for you because the way you express yourself doesn't deserve a response. My response is for other travelers, not for you, and also for future owners who have to put up with you. First of all, for potential travelers who see this 2-star comment, I ask you to look at the more than 60 comments that this house has, most of them 5 stars and detailing the good location of the house, how cozy it is, the good garden and pool and especially with respect to me as the owner, how close and willing to help. This portal considers me a premium owner for my facilities and treatment of guests. Precisely Diane, the guest who stayed before this person, gave her a 5-star rating. The words of this person, she speaks of catastrophe, hurricane, etc. This is southern Europe, the place with the best weather, sun and climate in all of Europe, during October we had 25 days of sun and temperatures of 25 degrees. This is not Acapulco, the Caribbean or Asia, there are no hurricanes or anything like that. On October 19th we had a wind storm and some rain, which broke some trees and caused electrical problems for 3 or 4 hours, and broke some pieces on the roof. nothing else. To the owners who receive these people, he told them to collect a deposit (I never charge a deposit to my guests, because 95% are excellent) they left the house very dirty, everything was messy. Nettes Haus in ruhiger Lage

Funktional eingerichtetes Haus, was hier und da leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Einige kleine Reparaturen /Erneuerungen wären zum perfekten Wohlfühlen ratsam.Das Grundstück bietet ausreichend Platz für die Familie. Von Vorteil war der überdachte Parkplatz. Der Ausblick ist leider nicht so schön auf die Berge, aber die Lage bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge, ob zum Strand oder in die Städte (Fahrzeug vorausgesetzt). Der Vermieter sprach ein wenig Englisch, kamen aber ausreichend zurecht.

Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt doch sehr angenehm. Positiv: sehr gepflegter Garten, Pool (= selbstreinigend) und gepflegte Finka. Man ist komplett sichtgeschützt. Umfeld sehr ruhig. Küche funktional und mit dem Wichtigsten ausgestattet. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die beschichteten Pfannen, die es in vier Größen gab und die fast wie neu waren. Badezimmer - das Warmwasser kam sofort. Negativ: Couch doch sehr abgewohnt, die Handtücher für die Sonnenliegen z.T. mit großen ausgefransten Löchern. Die weißen Handtücher in den Bädern sind zwar liebevoll bestickt, jedoch z.T. leicht grau. Schade fanden wir auch, dass man den Esstisch draußen kaum nutzen konnte. Da wir grundsätzlich im Urlaub nur frühstücken und zu Abend essen, hatten wir dort ständig Sonne. Zum Frühstück war die volle Sonne aus dem Osten und zum Abendessen gab es die volle Sonne aus dem Westen, weswegen wir folglich immer innen gegessen hatten. Insgesamt war es doch ein sehr angenehmer Urlaub.

Ruhig in den Bergen

Wir waren 8 Tage in der Finca. Da diese etwas abseits liegt ist ein Auto erforderlich. Jedoch ist die Umgebung traumhaft. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt da alles relativ sauber war. Die Einrichtung ist alt und einiges könnte erneuert werden. Die Küche ist im Großen und Ganzen zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Der Vermieter war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Peaceful, private, perfect

Perfect for a family of six - the kitchen is well equipped, the pool is a good size and there is plenty of space outside so you get the sun throughout the day. Aspects of the property are a bit tired but we found it to be great value overall - secluded, secure and with an excellent host in Antonio. We wouldn't hesitate to revisit.

Ha sido una semana de relax donde lo mejor ha sido la piscina y las zonas exteriores (lo que más nos interesaba) el propietario súper hospitalario y siempre dispuesto a ayudar en todo. No se podía hacer barbacoa por orden de la junta de Andalucía pero teníamos una plancha en el exterior. El pueblo muy cerquita y una zona muy tranquila.
