Stylish Chalet, Stunning Views of Mont Blanc, Hot Tub, Carport & large Garden

Le Refuge is a traditional, alpine style chalet that has been newly decorated and furnished, combining the wonderful wooden features with a stylish, contemporary design, resulting in a lovely and very comfortable chalet.

The ground floor comprises an open plan sitting room and dining room, separated by a modern, wood burning fire. The dining table seats 10 and there is a fully equipped kitchen as well as a small study. The spacious playroom can also be used as a double bedroom and there is a separate shower room and wc.

The first floor has a double bedroom with ensuite shower and a second double bedroom (can also be made up as twin beds), both rooms opening on to the south-facing balcony with wonderful views over L'Aiguille du Midi and Mont Blanc. There is a further single bedroom, family bathroom (bath and shower) and separate wc.

A wooden staircase/ladder leads to the second floor and a spacious, open plan loft with 6 mattresses under the eaves. Our children love this! The chalet comfortably sleeps 7 on the ground and first floor bedrooms and there are the additional mattresses in the loft. Please note an additional guest charge will be added to parties of over 8 people. This charge will appear in the price breakdown details.

The kitchen, dining room, sitting room and playroom all enjoy doors opening on to the south facing garden that surrounds the chalet and there is wooden decking on the south and east facing sections of the garden. The garden borders the 'ski du fond' and has lots of space for sledging and playing in the snow. This really is a wonderfully peaceful and beautiful spot.

There is easy access to the Grand Montets telepherique either via a short walk. Alternatively, the chalet is approximately 100m from the bus stop and the regular ski bus service up and down the valley to the various ski areas (Grand Montets, Le Tour, Flegere, Brevent, Les Houches). It is also easy to drive through the Mont Blanc tunnel to spend a day skiing in Courmayeur. There is parking for 2-3 cars within the garden.

The pretty village of Argentiere is a 10 minute walk or short drive and offers a selection of restaurants, bars, shops (including a supermarket and two bakers).
