Reserved for lovers of pretty things, cozy and comfortable, it is built at the foot of Mont Blanc with exceptional views of the Aiguilles de Chamonix, the Aiguille du Midi, Mt Blanc and the Bossons glacier. Its location is full South with private access. Perfect for 6 people, it is richly equipped and will seduce you with its brightness. An attached garage will allow you to store your equipment. Located 3 minutes from the city center, it is close to several cable cars and the small shopping center of the Pilgrims. There is the Pèlerins train station and a bus station 100 meters away for people without a vehicle. Adjoining the garage, it is not overlooked and surrounded by a large meadow beyond the garden and parking lot.

Chamonix Mont Blanc is a small town in the mountains. Chamonix will seduce you with its many assets whether you are sporty or not. Known worldwide for its exceptional setting, surrounded by numerous glaciers, peaks and peaks, you will have the chance to meet and touch them during your stay.
Located in the heart of Haute Savoie, at the foot of Mt Blanc, Chamonix is nevertheless very close to Annecy or Geneva (1 hour by car), from Italy via the Mont Blanc Tunnel (25 minutes by car ) or Switzerland with the canton of Valais (30 minutes by car for the border or 50 minutes for Martigny)

Beauty all around!

Jacky’s chalet is an excellent place to unwind and relax surrounded by all the beauty the French Alps have to offer. He is such a gracious host and very knowledgeable about the area. The view of Mont Blanc & Aguille du Midi from the deck was breathtaking! Our family considers this one of our favorite VRBO stays in many years of family vacations. Hiking & sightseeing adventures are plentiful. And Jacky’s chalet is comfortable & in excellent condition.

Stunning Views

Traveling with small children, Jacky’s backyard was a wonderful feature. We spent plenty of time playing there and on the deck, appreciating the gorgeous views. A walk into town took us ~25 min or so and 10 min to the market. Was a lovely stay; would recommend!

Chamonix for UTMB week

Beautiful, clean and comfortable chalet in a quiet corner of Chamonix. Views from the decking are absolutely stunning. Train, bus and supermarket within a short walk. A perfect base for exploring the mountains. Our host Jacky was very helpful and knowledgeable and easy to contact. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Chalet in a Spectacular Location!

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place! Looking up at Mont Blanc from the patio every day and watching climbers and paragliders was just amazing. The house was clean and well-appointed and our host, Jacky, could not have been more gracious and helpful. The photos and items from his climbing adventures which decorated the walls made this a truly unique place to stay. We did not want to leave!

Fabulous views

A fabulous property with amazing views close to local shops, bus and train station. Note that cleaning and linen were chargeable extras not detailed in the listing. Jacky graciously waived these fees after querying . We’d definitely recommend this property - it’s excellently presented, comfortable beds and very well positioned.

Nice Trip to visit Mont Blanc!

Jacky welcomed us really nice and polite. Explained us everything. Speaking was a bit difficult because we didn‘t really speak French. But in the End it worked out. Location is great, such a lovely place to hike and see awesome places. Really clean and nice chalet. Perfect location to directly start the hiking tour. Short way to near supermarket. We would go there again!

Truly lovely chalet, so comfortable.

We stayed here for a week at the end of January for a snowboarding holiday. Our party consisted of 4 adults, and 2 children under 6. The chalet is equipped with everything you could need, and extremely comfortable. Stunning scenery from the lounge, and really quiet, even though very accessible to the main road into Chamonix. Free buses nearby, so although we had a car it isn't necessary if you don't have one. Easy walk to the local supermarket and bakery even in deep snow! Can definitely recommend the bakery for breakfast croissants etc. Also a really nice little restaurant 'La Crémerie des Aiguilles' about 15 minutes walk away. Jacky the host is exceptionally helpful; his English much better than my French. Would highly recommend this property, and would love to return to it either in winter again, or the summertime.

We have just returned from a great week, the chalet was great, nice and clean with everything you require for a stay. The kitchen is well equipped with spices and a few sauces sugar etc. Jacky was very helpful to us as he knows the local area really well, he gave us advice for buses up to the ski areas. We tended to jump the number 2 bus most days and the bus stop is just up from the school around the corner. We walked into town one day and that is straight forward didn't take long at all to get there. We skied the whole valley and had a great time, it is quite expensive on the slopes but I think thats all areas. We brought over a google chrome and worked fine on the TV, so if you get sick off BBC news you can stream through. But great week and Jacky was a fab host and he will help with anything you require. Maybe we'll be back in the future. Enjoy your stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Jacky's impressive chalet. It was very comfortabe for my wife and I and our 4 guests, plus our little dog. The kitchen had everything we needed for several home-cooked evening meals, and there is plenty of space for 6 people to socialize together, or sit quietly in couples. The outside space is plentiful if you, like us, get some late afternoon sunshine post-skiing, to enjoy a beer or glass of wine on the patio. All in all, I cannot fault our stay.

Séjour authentique à Chamonix Mont Blanc

Jacky, le propriétaire a été remarquable en amont, pendant et même a l'issue de notre séjour d'une semaine dans son chalet authentique et d'une qualité exceptionnelle. Sans aucun doute notre meilleure expérience malgré nos nombreuses expériences Abritel et autres sites du même genre, en France comme en Europe. Comment ne pas recommander cette offre? Impossible pour nous. Pour sûre, nous recommandons vivement et n'hésiterons pas nous même à retourner dans ce chalet si l'envie se représente de profiter de cette magnifique vallée de Chamonix. Attention, les disponibilités se font de plus en plus rares année après année. Bonus: Jacky, guide de haute montagne pendant près de 30 ans a su nous conseiller avec une précision absolue sur les itinéraires en rando accessibles au moment de notre passage pour notre famille avec 2 jeunes petits marcheurs. Un bonus incontestable!

Excellent séjour dans un magnifique chalet à Chamonix face aux montagnes.

Notre séjour a été super agréable dans un beau et grand chalet extrêmement confortable et extrêmement complet en ustensiles et appareils électroménagers. Poêle et bois à disposition nous ont permis de passer de délicieuses soirées post-ski . La situation du chalet entouré d'un grand pré au calme face aux montagnes est vraiment fantastique. La petite ville de Chamonix est particulièrement sympa et a été une belle découverte pour nous.Le propriétaire, Jacky, est particulièrement accueillant et chaleureux et ses conseils nous ont été très judicieux. Nous reviendrons évidemment !

Chamonix Chalet

This chalet was built very charming; post and beam construction, a lot of exposed wood and lovely details. The chalet was extremely well outfitted, including the kitchen. We cooked almost every night and did not find anything missing. It was also immaculately clean. The view of Aguille du Midi was spectacular from the windows and I could not think of a better place to drink our morning coffee and enjoying the views. The chalet is walking distance into town (Chamonix) and we did not need a car. We were provided with a bus and train pass for the valley and were able to explore other villages and walk or ride between each village or access various hiking trails from the chalet and from the other villages. Our host, Jacky was the most attentive that I have experienced from a VRBO vacation. He offered (and did) pick us up from the bus station when we arrived and when we ended our trip. He provided numerous resources of train schedules, bus schedules, maps and local attractions. Since our goal was to hike each day, his suggestion to visit the Mountain House was invaluable. After returning home, I realized that I left behind a local artist created pillow case with the famed marmot and Jacky kindly mailed it to me. It is good to know that the property is near a highway. It is totally obscured by trees but if you are in the backyard (where the view of the mountains are), you will hear the noise. This did not bother us, as we were indoors due to the season.
