Enclosed, lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture.. Sand View is a detached bungalow which has been completely refurbished in 2021. It is comfortable and cosy, and has the most stunning views over the Solway Firth. Sand View is the perfect place to enjoy this much loved coastal resort in beautiful south west Scotland.

From the conservatory you can sit and relax taking in the uninterrupted view of the Solway Coast.

The coastal village of Southerness has undoubtedly some of the most outstanding views of the Solway Firth to the English Lake District. Explore the beach and the striking white landmark of the lighthouse, built in 1749, or challenge yourself on the championship golf course.

What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the views.

What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the views. The cottage was very clean, well equipped and added bonus of a fantastic welcome pack. It was great to walk on the beach and look across the Solway Firth. Southerness has a few amenities such as a pub, coffee shop and small store. Contact with the owner was great. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Great place to stay.Stunning views from the conservatory literally feet away from the beach.Plenty to do walking cycling golf and the added bonus of a pub at the end of the road with dog friendly locals what more could you want.We stayed with our dogs New Year’s Eve and not a firework to be heard excellent.

Sand View was a well-equipped, very clean, comfortable cottage with outstanding views. The welcome pack was one of the best we've had in a while, very generous with everything you need on arrival after your journey. The bedrooms were compact but adequate and well-presented, the living/kitchen area open and bright.Fortunately, the location of Sand View was far enough away from the busy caravan site and all the activities there. Access to the beach was easy and I enjoyed long walks with my German Shepherd, Skye.
