It is an historic building set just off the cobbled promenade, and the cottage has been renovated to a very good standard to provide a fantastic holiday home by the sea. It makes a great base if you’re looking for a coastal escape, and this delightful Victorian seaside town has a lot to offer.
This entire house has a lovely downstairs space with a spacious kitchen/dining room, and a bright living room with French doors opening onto a courtyard. There is a modern shower room on the ground floor and upstairs has a double and single bedroom, as well as a further shower room.
Silloth itself is a hidden gem along the Cumbrian coastline, offering a wealth of attractions and activities year-round. The property’s proximity to the promenade means that a leisurely stroll by the sea is always within reach. The town’s beautiful beach, with its sweeping views and pristine sands, is a perfect spot for relaxation and building sandcastles with the family. For those with a passion for golf, Silloth boasts a championship golf course that’s renowned for its challenging layout and breathtaking views of the Solway Firth and the Scottish mountains beyond. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or a novice, you’ll find this course a thrilling experience.
You can enjoy many other attractions and places to visit in the area including the harbour towns of Maryport and Whitehaven, all within easy driving distance. Visit Carlisle, Cockermouth, Keswick and the Northern Lakes, Hadrian’s Wall or even over the border into Scotland.
