The views were spectacular and the nearby grocery store had fresh baked goods daily. A great location and lovely apt. The person who let us in told us not to use a bathroom and bedroom and showed up an hour before check out to clean, then came back 30mins. later.

This property is in a great location that is easy to get to. There is an excellent view from the balcony. Beach is across the street and down some steps. There are plenty of shops and restaurants close by. I would definitely return.

Absolutely Stunning View

The property was perfect and exactly as described with legitimately the best view. Everything was within 5 mins of the apartment. The people in Portimao were amazingly friendly and helpful. There is an ecological island right across the street for all types of waste, it is an extremely well located property for absolutely everything.My friends and I were extremely happy with the property.The host was responsive and extremely attentive. Checkin was smooth and effortless. The bad review that this property has is totally unjustified. Those people are obviously entitled, If it was so dirty why did you not contact the host with photos, instead you took it upon yourself? It doesn't make any sense.I hope to rent this property again later this year with Family. That view was absolutely stunning.

Wonderful Host and Breathtaking View

What a great vacation spot! The view from the bedrooms and living rooms, which spanned the whole beach, were glorious. Bedrooms were spacious and it comes with 2 baths. We came on a very chilly day and we’re quite cold the first night as there is no heating in the unit and only one space heater. The host brought us another space heater the very next day along with a bottle of wine for our troubles! How nice was that?? The location was excellent for long walks along Praia da Rocha and eating at any of the restaurants along the avenue. The kitchen is bare bones so if you plan on cooking, while it does have plates, pots and pans and utensils, you’ll have to provide oil/butter and seasonings, etc. There is a nice little store at the base of the building for anything you might need and a bigger grocery store, InterMarche, not too far down the avenue. All in all, it was a great place to relax in and a great host! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you Helena!

Convenient location but questionable cleaning

Location: great! Cleanliness: we had to buy all cleaning products, bins and wash the bathroom mats and I had to clean the house on my arrival due to dirt and hair (all at our own cost). Communication: fine and Helena was lovely until we left. On leaving we received a breakdown bill for EUR 296 which she did not want to discuss, which she stated she had claimed EUR 100 from VRBO and she was annoyed that was the only amount she could claim. There was a lamp, not broken but tilted to the side which she claimed was broken and therefore she would charge twice the price as she needed to get a matching one too. She proceeded to state that we shouldn’t book her place again. I understand the inconvenience but we too were inconvenienced. We even left cleaning products at her place. We offered to discuss this multiple times and even called but she ignored us. This is a shame as I believe this could have been resolved.

Dear guest: when it is not recognized, even with photos, that the apartment was in a deplorable state - with unwashed dishes, hair, sand everywhere, garbage to be emptied, toilet bins overflowing (having in front of the building, an ecological island with all types of waste collection) - they always use, as an argument, the excuse of cleaning the apartment not being in conditions..... You are young and still have a lot to learn, especially in preserving the property of others that is available to guests. We hope this incident is educational and that Mako and her friends don't do the same to another owner. Helena

Pour avoir déjà loué sur la même rue et même au dessus des restaurants nous avons trouvé cet appartement mal insonorisé donc de ce fait des nuits peu reposantes Un petit coup de rénovation serait le bienvenue et un ménage a fond ferait pas de mal Dommage car la vue et l emplacement sont idéal mais ça ne fait pas tout !!!!!!!!!! Je recommande malgré tout cet appartement

Vue à 180 ° sur la mer!!!

J'ai passé 10 jours de vacances formidable. Appartement très bien situé pour la vue et pour les sorties. Magnifique vue sur mer!! L'appartement est très bien équipé, très clair avec une très bonne literie. L'hôte est une super hôte!!! Réagit immédiatement à mes questions. Je reviendrai certainement l'année prochaine.et je conseillerai cet appt à tout le monde.
