We were very disappointed with the lodging. It was in a great location, but it was run down and not as clean as previous reviews suggested. The carpet was very stained; there was a blob of what looked like melted blue wax (?) on the carpet next to one of the beds; the walls had gouges in them; windows had handprints on them and were dirty; there were cobwebs with bugs in them in multiple locations; some overhead lights had bare bulbs in them. The otherwise lovely deck needed a good cleaning as well. The description of the bedroom configuration was a little misleading. The "common room" situated off the main master bedroom did have an extra twin bed in it, but also had a large opening into the second bedroom. A shade/curtain was installed to add some privacy, but none of the upstairs bedrooms felt as private as we had hoped.

The house was well equipped with everything we needed. Great fenced backyard for the dogs. Be aware there are a lot of stairs so would not be a good fit for people with accessibility issues.

Great stay in Yachats

This property was perfect for our family trip to celebrate my Fathers birthday. The home was very comfortable and well furnished, the views were gorgeous, and the backyard was perfect for our dog. Would definitely recommend!

Loved the view!

Very nice place to stay, close to the places to eat in Yachats. Hill is a bit steep for walking, but it's out of the tsunami zone. Quiet neighborhood and neighbors.
