This unit was located in the perfect place! The view was amazing and the sunsets were perfect. Kitchen was great! Living room and dining areas were comfortable. Balcony was great as well. Since it was my husband and I we only used the master bedroom and I used the master bathroom and my husband used the guest bathroom. The bedroom and bathrooms need upgrading of sheets, covers, and towels. The towels were very old and the bathroom was not cleaned very well. There was hair all over the walls of the shower and the shower door was filthy. The carpet in the bedroom was old worn and stained. The pillows had stains, please replace pillows and mattress topper. I bought my own sheets and blankets because I could not sleep in such conditions. The amenities and the short walk to the beach is what makes this place really worth it. Please have your cleaning people clean bathrooms and bedrooms better! Alan, the beach attendant was friendly and very nice! I heard this unit was the best one in the property so I’m not sure if I will stay there again.

Atmosphere !

The condo was perfectly clean and quiet, yet the atmosphere of the entire place was fun and exciting. Never a time when families weren't laughing and playing at the pools or on the beach. Probably the best evening vibes at any place we've stayed. We'll be back 100%.

Late summer vacay

Everything was excellent as it was the previous year. Only negative was there was only one working elevator that intermittently didn't work either. The place was fairly busy so people were pretty disgruntled about it. Other than that, perfect!

Winter retreat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Destin is the perfect place to go to hide from winter snow, and if you dont like hot weather either, temp are mid 50s -60s. The Islander Resort where we stay is super snowbird friendly, and our 6th floor unit is comfy, modern, and has glorious sunset views. The Islander provides the palm room for many get togethers, potlucks, yoga, mahjongg, dominos and card games. People are friendly and inclusive. We’ve returned for seven years and are planning to return next winter.

Great Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was very nice as always but I must say the sofa and loveseat are very old and uncomfortable which limits entertaining or relaxing inside. I have been visiting over 25 years and fist time I had an unwanted pest insect in the unit which was not something you want to deal with on vacation. Also one of the elevators is becoming extremely clunky for lack of a better descriptor.I fully intend to return and cant wait till next year!
Response from VrboOwner on 30 September 2022
Thank you for submitting your feedback ! We appreciate your recommendations and we will make sure to work on them for our future guests. We appreciate your recommendations and will make sure to notify the owner about updates. Being that we are in Florida, we tend to deal with bugs frequently but we make sure to have our units treated by pest control quarterly. We did have them come out to fix the elevators and they just needed routine maintenance. We look forward to having you as a guest in the future.

Cute spot

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: cute space, long walk to the beach from it's location in the building. Check in & out was great & staff was extremely helpful with an issue in the building's laundry room, but there was an issue of a loud repetitive knocking sound from either above or beside the unit that I reported & it took 2 days to get it resolved. Alan the beach chair & umbrella attendant was nice & helpful

Vacation 2022

We stayed at this property June 4 - June 9 2022. The condo was decorated nicely. There was plenty of room for me, my husband, my mother in law, and my two year old daughter. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the condo. When we arrived, my daughter walked around the condo barefoot. Her feet were soo dirty within 30 minutes. It was as if the floor hadn’t been cleaned at all. When I bathed her I had to clean black hairs out of the bathtub and drain. With the cleaning fee included in the price of the booking, I don’t think you should have to clean upon arrival. The location is great. The view from the condo was great. We enjoyed the beach and pool area.
