This cottage is super peaceful, well appointed and comfy. The furnishings are gorgeous and the layout is perfect. This was a perfect home base for exploring Door County. Can't wait to come back!!
The house was perfect! We have a tradition every year going to Door County and we always look for a new house to stay at (some we have stayed more than once) and this house did not disappoint as we want to book another stay. Had clean linens, towels, well stocked with supplies and kitchen necessities. The fire pit was blazing every night (chairs and wood supplies). Across the street from Kangaroo lake. 10-15 min to all other towns. Plenty of living space for a group! Only small suggestion is upgrading the lock on front door to a key pad for use of needing a code, would be easier and smoother especially at night coming back in the dark.
A beautiful, well-designed and functional property... even better than the pictures portray (and the pictures are very good!). A short walk to Kangaroo Lake (across the street) and a short drive (less than 5 min.) to Bailey's Harbor shops and restaurants. I look forward to visiting again!
Loved this place. Very clean and well supplied. Perfect for our family gatherings. Hopefully we can make this place part of our family reunion annually.
Very nice, neat home. Private setting. Very well maintained.
Has much more as far as amenities than what they tell you about. Front porch and family room are great hang out spots. Neighborhood is quiet and in a good location to get to all parts of Door County. Great for a family or group.
We rented this house for a week in September. This property exceeded our expectations in so many areas:
Location: Quiet, secluded property across the street from Kangaroo Lake. There are houses all along this road, but you feel like you're in the middle of the woods alone. Very private.
Cleanliness: Beautiful home; very clean and comfortable. I am a neat freak, and this home was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed at. No complaints on cleanliness.
Space: This home has various spaces to gather. Screened in front porch with table to eat at as well as couch and rocking chairs on the other end of it. Three bedrooms of decent size; two bathrooms. Two living areas separated by kitchen area. Back part of house has lovely sitting area with many windows, allowing for view of nature outside. Property also has several areas outside to sit; one is around a firepit and other has table to sit and eat/talk at.
Amenities: This property has everything you need. Plenty of nice towels for bathrooms and kitchen. Kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have seen; all cooking needs are covered. Washer and dryer were perfect size. I can't think of anything we wished we had available; this place had it all.
Overall, this property was fantastic! The pictures posted online did not do this place justice. We had a nice, relaxing week in Door County and really looked forward to our time back at the house just as much as the time spent exploring Door County. We would definitely stay here again.
The house was beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen was VERY well equipped. Very short walk to Kangaroo Lake (which was lovely). We brought paddle boards and kayaks and had a wonderful, socially distanced vacation! Thank you!
6 of stayed for 5 days. Plenty of room and we had anything we could possibly need. A big thank you to the property owner, we will be back.

Gorgeous house with everything you need.
Wow! What a beautiful house. It had everything we needed and more. We come up to Door Co this same weekend every year for a Girl's Weekend. The weather didn't cooperate for using the fire pit but we did get to use the screened in porch. The street and "neighborhood" were very quiet yet we were just a short drive away from all the towns. We went on a few good hikes and of course, shopped. The house was plenty big for just hanging out. There were only 4 of us but if you had the full 8 that it sleeps there would still be enough room for everyone to comfortably hang out, like in bad weather when you were all confined to the inside. Both living spaces have comfy couches/chairs and a tv. It was also very clean. A super bonus was that the Coyote Roadhouse is right at the end of the street. We always have a good time there. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.
