Lake Michigan Beachfront

Treat yourself to a classic Door County get-away. North Haven is nestled on one of the quietest stretches of beach along Lake Michigan. Enjoy breathtaking sunrises, quiet walks, and the sound of waves at night. You might even spot a pair of nesting bald eagles just to the south.

The cottage is located between Jacksonport and Baileys Harbor. This location allows you to enjoy the "Quietside" of Door County with easy access to such attractions as Whitefish Dunes State Park, Maxwelton Braes Golf Course and Cana Island Lighthouse. While there are many excellent shops and restaurants nearby, the Green Bay side of Door county is just minutes away.

North Haven has a fully equipped kitchen, a great room with fireplace, and recently remodeled bathroom. There's a queen size bed in one of the bedrooms and a triple bunk bed in the other. The great room has a sleeper sofa. You can watch your favorite movies on a DVD player. There is wifi so that you can access email. The cottage can be heated should the weather turn unseasonably cold. North Haven is a housekeeping cottage. Blankets and pillows are there for your use. Linens and towels are not provided. Guests have access to a deck for conversation or a relaxing meal overlooking Lake Michigan. North Haven is the perfect place to unwind and step back from our busy lives.

Have stayed at this cabin a few times with my family. Also their cabin next door. And will definitely stay a few more! Very clean, close to the beach, close to my favorite restaurant in Jacksonport. Island Fever Rum Bar and Grill. The beach is nice and close. There is a swing on the beach great for a reading spot. Wonderful place.

Nice location along the beach

We enjoyed the location of the cottage and being able to have a fire near the water and walk along the beach. Also enjoyed the enclosed area with heater to sit in the morning and evenings. Owner was very responsive and appreciated their care in addressing any questions or concerns we had along the way.

A great place

We have stayed in this cottage every year for about 35 years, and it just gets better and better. Larry and Jill have made a number of improvements over the years and it is quite comfortable and in a great location. If you like Door County and L. Michigan beaches then it is perfect.

Cozy Cottage on Lake Michigan

Wonderful cabin near the beach!❤

Sweet lil cabin overlooking the beach. Loved being able to see some water and hear the waves on the beach but being nestled and cozy in the trees! Very clean cabin. Loved the big picnic table for the family to sit at inside. The swing on the beach was the best! Used a few of the beach toys and had a few bonfires. Would love to stay here again!! Thank you so much!!

Perfect Beach Vacation

This property is all the owner and the reviews say it is and more. The owners have a wonderfully maintained beach cabin. We enjoyed the vacation pace, the quiet, the beach, the beach swing, the fire pit, the grill on the deck and the peacefulness of the surroundings. We had a week of being unplugged and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. You are centrally located in Door County so you're not far from anything. The cabin is well equipped and maintained. Definitely will visit again.

We have stayed here for at least 30 years. Took children and friends at beginning and now taking grandchildren. We love the neighborhood, very quiet, very few people on beach during week. Have our favorite things to do: bike Peninsula park, go to nature center, cave point, The Farm and of course get ice cream. Always great week

The property was very nice. Just what we were looking for...secluded & quiet. Enjoyed sunrises over coffee on the beach. Only warning I'd give to future guests is the shower is a tight fit if you're 6'5" and 300 lbs. Other than that, a very nice, little cottage in the woods.

Fantastic location right on the beach. 10-20 minute drive to pretty much everywhere we wanted to visit. Multiple nearby dining spots. The cottage was perfect for my 3 year old and wife. It had everything we could have ever needed. Of all the places we visited my son’s favorite place was the cottage.

Wonderful Beach Front Stay

We came up to Door Co and ended our trip here! It was a great time to spend with family on the private calm beach, minutes away from Baileys Harbor. This is very quiet, very serene spot! Communication was great! This was a great spot!!

Door County Excursion

This is beautiful rental with stunning beach front. Enjoyed a couple of great sunrises while having coffee in the morning. The location was perfect to drive to and from the towns and sites.

Location, location, location

Beautiful beach setting with plenty of sand and surf. Every day was picture perfect. Bring your fly repellent because the sand flies can be aggressive at certain times. The boathouse deck is a great alternative to the beach to get away from the heat and sun. We brought our own comfortable folding chairs, but there’s also plenty of outdoor seating provided. The cabin was a bit rustic, with very small bedrooms and no closets. The bathroom is really a single with a hallway through the middle. One side is a half bath, the other houses a really nice corner shower & small sink area. This cabin is perfect for a couple with children. The open kitchen, dining and living room is the best paet of the cabin. Spacious with a vaulted ceiling throughout. The kitchen is on one end and a stone wood burning fireplace on the other. The kitchen was very functional and nicely appointed except most of the dishes were not microwaveable. The WiFi was weak, no TV streaming, but they are working to improve that in the area. Our phones worked fine, but we unplugged for the most part. The owners provided plenty of wood for beach campfires. Overall It was a relaxing weekend for our party of two senior couples.

Always Amazing

We’ve been coming up for years before and after kids. It’s always clean and a great stay. The beach is unbeatable and hearing the waves every night on the porch is what vacation is about. We feel so lucky to have found this gem.
