About this property

Lake Michigan Beachfront

Treat yourself to a classic Door County get-away. North Haven is nestled on one of the quietest stretches of beach along Lake Michigan. Enjoy breathtaking sunrises, quiet walks, and the sound of waves at night. You might even spot a pair of nesting bald eagles just to the south.

The cottage is located between Jacksonport and Baileys Harbor. This location allows you to enjoy the "Quietside" of Door County with easy access to such attractions as Whitefish Dunes State Park, Maxwelton Braes Golf Course and Cana Island Lighthouse. While there are many excellent shops and restaurants nearby, the Green Bay side of Door county is just minutes away.

North Haven has a fully equipped kitchen, a great room with fireplace, and split bathroom provding and additional sink. There's a queen size bed in one of the bedrooms and a bunk bed with a full bed the bottom and a twin on topin the other room. The great room has a sleeper sofa. You can watch your favorite movies on a DVD player or stream your own programs when you log in using the Roku TV. The cottage can be heated should the weather turn unseasonably cold.

One of our guests favorite places to hang out when indoors, is the three season porch with a wall heater.

North Haven is a housekeeping cottage. Blankets and pillows are there for your use. Linens and towels are not provided. Guests have access to a deck for conversation or a relaxing meal overlooking Lake Michigan. North Haven is the perfect place to unwind and step back from our busy lives.

Very nice cottage - easy to find and clean! Loved the screened in porch - spent a lot of time there relaxing and listening to the waves! Great hiking near by and breakfast at the Rusty Tractor was awesome! We had a great time!

Great to be so close to the beach and enjoy the sound of the waves coming in. Close to all our fun events while on vacation: dining out, theater, mini golf, bike riding and of course swimming whenever you want.

Absolutely gorgeous beach for sunning or swimming or just sitting in a swing and watching the waves!! Sunrises are amazing. Easy to get to all the other Door County attractions. Nice quiet solitude and nice long walks on the beach. Property is very private from the neighbors adjoining properties. Hosts were extremely accommodating to any issues and informative for places to eat and visit. Definitely worth the five stars.

Jill and Larry are excellent hosts who are very thorough and make sure you have everything you need for a smooth check-in/check-out. Their cottage was relaxing with a beautiful lake view and helped take away the stresses of life during a nice long weekend getaway. I highly recommend staying at this property at least once when in Door County. A

Have stayed at this cabin a few times with my family. Also their cabin next door. And will definitely stay a few more! Very clean, close to the beach, close to my favorite restaurant in Jacksonport. Island Fever Rum Bar and Grill. The beach is nice and close. There is a swing on the beach great for a reading spot. Wonderful place.

Wonderful Beach Front Stay

We came up to Door Co and ended our trip here! It was a great time to spend with family on the private calm beach, minutes away from Baileys Harbor. This is very quiet, very serene spot! Communication was great! This was a great spot!!

Door County Excursion

This is beautiful rental with stunning beach front. Enjoyed a couple of great sunrises while having coffee in the morning. The location was perfect to drive to and from the towns and sites.
